I think I’m in a love affair with summer whites.
Last year I unearthed my obsession with white denim, and this year it’s with sundresses and white tops. At this rate, my entire summer wardrobe is about to be all shades of white! But, as I’ve recently discovered, a good white top can seriously go the distance, and this breathable, organic cotton-blend camisole has been a no-brainer for summer outfits.

Jean Shorts & A White Tank Top Get A Seersucker Update
There’s something infinitely chic about pairing a classic white top with your favorite denim and any good shoe. If it’s breezy out? Throw your favorite sweater on top and the outfit just got even better.
The Marina Seersucker Camisole from Faherty has a modern boxy cut and falls loosely around the body. The fact that it doesn’t cling to me is a serious game-changer in the heat. I was immediately drawn to the buttons down the front when I found it online, and in person that is the real beauty of the whole thing, too.

This top is amazing in the summer heat, as well as an easy choice when packing for summer heat — the texture of the seersucker material hides wrinkles or folded lines, making it part of an easy travel outfit. It’s ultra-breathable and easy to wear. If you’re not into wider silhouettes (newsflash: I totally am), I think you could easily size down, thanks to the adjustable straps, for a fit that’s a bit closer to the body.

Truth be told, I’m not usually someone who wears tank tops alone. I prefer the look of layers and the texture of an outfit that’s built with lots of interesting fabric. But ever since we moved to a warmer climate, it has been nice to have a few simpler outfit options (or to clarify: options outside of a sporty workout romper, which is often what I turn to).

Long, hot days under the sun at Disneyland, the San Diego Zoo, or even just as I run errands with a car that heats up quickly calls for the easiest, most lightweight outfit option. And if I can make it at least a little interesting with a beautiful row of buttons and puckered fabric? I’ll take that as a fashion win.
