Lately I’m ALL about this sherpa coat, friends. Some coats only look soft and cozy, but this beauty from Gap actually IS. It’s one of those pieces you put on for the first time and immediately say, ‘YEP.’

It’s that cute, warm, and snuggly.

The Soft & Flattering Teddy Coat I Want To Wear All Season

This coat also feels like the perfect topper to wear to a chilly football game, yeah? We often get asked how to style up sportswear, and I say, it’s all in the coat. Layer it up over your favorite jersey or team tee, pop on a cute scarf, and voila!

Right now, all of the coats at Gap are especially good, plus, so many are made with recycled fill (yay!) They have some great options: cute puffers, and plenty of those fun sherpa pieces I’m craving this season. (P.S Friends + Family… take 40% off through 11/10 with code: FRIENDS & FAMILY, plus an extra 10% off for Gap Good Rewards members).

I’ve been searching for a fab, cozy long coat for a while. Some are too fuzzy, some look soft but aren’t, some have a lapel that’s too big and I don’t love…but this Relaxed Sherpa Coat at Gap hits all the marks.

The fabric feels great, the cut isn’t too oversized for my shorter frame, it has a phenomenal collar and is just a joy to wear…aka: like wearing a giant blanket.

Outfit Details

Relaxed Sherpa Coat // I can go on and on about this thing, but it’s such a find. It comes in sizes S – XL and in Regular and Tall. So, so good. Wearing a Regular Small here. Made with 30% recycled polyester, too!

Sky Highrise Vintage Slim Jean // Such a cute pair of jeans with a high rise, but a soft waistband. It has a slim-straight leg cut and front patch pockets. Fits TTS. Wearing a 28 here.

Shrunken Graphic Tee // This green tee, though! I love it paired with the navy and camel toppers — I couldn’t resist that combo. Made from a soft, lightweight cotton. TTS but size up if you want a little bit slouchier fit. Wearing a S.

Recycled Cozy Scarf // This scarf goes with the camel sherpa coat beautifully. Soft, fuzzy and also made from recycled materials –it would make a great gift.

Gap is really nailing the outerwear game right now. I’ve worn Gap coats for years and they have been some of my absolute favorites.

And oh, ps. This long recycled puffer is also calling my name because, yes, I essentially just want to wear a comforter when it gets cold. I am loving how many options Gap has using recycled fibers right now, too! Here are a few more favs…

Any of these coats would be perfect for cheering on your fav team this fall…or even just for the trip to and from the watch party.

And if we’re being honest here, while I do love my Blazers, Timbers & Razorbacks…y’all know…I’m usually just in it for the snacks…
