I’ve been putting off this video for a little while to make extra sure I really do love these Golden Goose sneakers…and then I kept…on…grabbing them for every outfit.
Those are the kinds of closet pieces I know are worth covering! And while the GG might come with a bit of a ridiculous price tag, I’ve run through a pretty decent case for how versatile they are, how I take them on most of my trips, and how I’m still coming back to them years later. My cost-per-wear is down to pennies at this point.
Go-With-Anything Golden Goose Mid Stars Are (Still) My Fave Sneakers
My favorite style of the Golden Goose sneakers is the Mid Star, which is what I cover here. It comes up just below the ankle for a really cool high-top vibe without the added height and bulk. There’s a small lift in the heel of Golden Goose sneakers, adding just a bit of muscle-tone fabulousness to your legs.

These babies always sell out, so somebody else is still out there loving them too! If you’re sneaky good, you can find some on Poshmark and eBay. I sized up to my normal Euro size 39 (I’m a solid US 8 otherwise) and use a really thin insole to make mine fit perfectly.
