I recently snagged the most gorgeous strappy heels from Gucci that give me total rockstar girlfriend vibes. I’ve been living for all things rockstar girlfriend lately, and honestly? I was definitely a huge fan of that whole scene in the 2000s. Growing up, I loved Evanescence just as much as Christina Aguilera (and dressed the part too). Ahh, the nostalgia. But, lately, it feels like Kourtney Kardashian is to thank for the resurgence of this trend. And I’m not mad about it.

The Gucci Janaya GG Logo Quarter-Strap Sandals — gahhh, that’s a mouthful — are so freaking cool yet comfortable at the same time and look amazing with jeans, miniskirts and all-black outfits.
What I love about these heels in particular is that they feel ultra-sturdy, and even though they look like a pretty high heel, the platform at the front of the footbed makes them oh-so easy and comfortable for all-day wear. And while, yes, these heels definitely give me that edgy rockstar girlfriend aesthetic, at the same time they feel like they’ll stand the test of time.
I personally love shoes that give you the flexibility of wearing a current trend but still feel classic and timeless.

A quick note about the fit: I have unique feet in that I wear a size larger in heels than I do in sneakers and sandals. The same was true for these heels. IMO, they fit true to size, and the leather is already a deliciously soft material that I imagine will continue to soften over time.
