Here in Marquette, we are alllll about the layers.  A big oversized sweater is pretty much a necessity if you live here.  Of course you can always throw it on over jeans and head out the door, but it’s fun to mix it up once in awhile too.  My favorite way to dress up a big sweater is to layer it over a bodycon dress and add tall boots . . .

Over a Slipdress with Cool-Weather Accessories

Wearing:

Eyelash Sweater Tunic: Also in a gorgeous red color, I’m wearing a size small for reference.

Faux Leather Jacket: Also in white, which is ON SALE for half off!

Slipdress: An easy way to add length to any too-short-to-wear-as-a-dress-alone tunic.  (Plus it smooths!)

Boots: (similar) The perfect over-the-knee boots for special occasions that won’t break the bank (also in a flat version).

Scarf: Mine is old, but this cashmere scarf comes in a ton of colors and is absolutely gorgeous.

With Faux Leather Leggings and Statement Booties

Ok, first of all, I need to tell you how much I LOVE these leggings.  I know I’ve talked about leather leggings over and over and over again, but these . . . THESE are amazing.  Super comfortable, stretchy and warm for cool fall and winter days.  Get them.  These are perfect for layering with oversized sweaters . . . throw on some statement booties (I’m loving these white ones) and you’ve got an outfit that’s comfy and on-trend.  (And you can still chase your toddler in). She was SO excited about seeing birds in the sky . . . sometimes I wish I was as excited about birds or planes in the sky as she is!

Lysee Faux Leather Leggings: These are my new favorite faux leather leggings . . . and that’s saying something.  They run true to size – I’m wearing a medium and am a size 6/28 in pants.

White Booties: Also available here, these come in red leather (LOVE) and black patent leather as well.  I love the shape and the shorter heel.
