A huge thank you to Nordstrom & ShopStyle for sponsoring this post.
Go, Fly London, go!!! They are KILLING it with their styles this year. Even Shana, who I don’t always see eye-to-eye with in terms of comfort shoe styles, ordered two colors of these to try. The Chelsea version (shown above) has been hugely popular as well.
I personally have worn and loved Fly Londons for years and years and years. They look like a cool boot… but feel like a sneaker. Enough said.
Obsessed: Fly London Boots Nail Winter Comfort & Style
You know, of course, I’m not going to stop there, though. I could talk about comfort shoes for pages and pages and pages and pages, so I’m going to gush at least a LITTLE bit more. When people ask me about my favorite comfort shoe brands…I will often talk about Danskos (these are my new cozy shearling-lined favs)…or a lot of the time I’ll talk about Gentle Souls (love these) or EILEEN FISHERs (sleek new style with recycled knit), but Fly London truly takes the prize for all-time fav.
SO many good comfort shoe options in the winter boot category to share with you guys, but I narrowed it down to my favorite Fly Londons (in two colors), three other great Fly London options (one that comes in wide sizing), and then a few of my other favorite comfort shoe brands (as well as favorite denim and blue layers to wear with them) at the end of the post. You know I’m a gal who likes her options.
The Lede Booties are my favorite. A nice high shaft, modern black finish, comfy cushy footbed, plenty of support, easy fit with cropped denim (or skinny jeans or straight-leg denim), and an absolute PLEASURE to wear. Especially these days when I’m not wearing my dressier shoes/boots as much, these feel perfect. The leather is selling out fast, but the black suede is also really pretty. The shorter Litas are available in more sizing in the black leather. I wear these most with MOTHER The Pixies below, these stretchy comfy skinnies, and I’m SOOOOO excited to wear them with my newest acid wash gray MOTHER jeans.
If you like the look of the Lede but want a shorter shaft, THIS is your boot. Same great cushy footbed, same cool-looking sole, and same support…BUT with classic Chelsea styling. Or…if you’re a gal who likes a pop of color, these come in an absolutely gorgeous forest green, as well as a rich wine. Ooooh…and also a really cool go-with-everything gray slate as well. I’m obviously having some shoppers’ regret that I didn’t try one of the colors as well.
I always get a ton of reader questions about wide sizing in comfort shoes. These buckle wedges are a fantastic option. Available in medium AND wide sizing. Nice high shaft (looks great with cropped denim, straight-leg OR skinny jeans) and I’m a huge fan of the buckle styling. This boot has the more traditional Fly London wedge sole style that I’ve worn and loved for years. SOOOOOO comfortable to walk in all day long.
The Bale Platform is a great Fly London option if you want an even chunkier platform. A bit more snug in the width than the Litas, Ledes, or Yemos (I would consider sizing up), but still plenty comfortable.

I so appreciate Nordstrom carrying ALL of my favorite comfort shoe brands (not just Fly London). I also so appreciate Nordstrom’s free shipping, free easy returns, price-matching, and how ridiculously easy they make it to order online and pick up-in-store or curbside. Added benefit….I try to buy my beauty products, shoes, gifts and pretty much anything I can at Nordstrom because purchases contribute to my Nordy Club Points (which earn those fun reward certificates). It’s kind of a no-brainer for me since they carry all my favorite products and brands anyway.
Thank you again to Nordstrom & Shopstyle, for sponsoring this post…it’s always a pleasure working with you (especially when comfort shoes are involved).
