I am CLEARLY not the only one who is loving the whole “so ugly they’re cute” comfy shoe vibe. I was walking the streets of Manhattan in my uber-comfy Birkenstock mules (LOVE!) last week, and saw several stylish women rocking these fuzzy Arizona Birkenstock slides and these fuzzy shearling-lined Birkenstock clogs (both of which have sold out at multiple retailers…whaaat!).
It’s evident that so-ugly-they’re-cute shoes are a thing, and I am here for it! And also don’t worry –I’ve been stalking all of these sold-out shoes and have found the places that still have sizes available. Woohoo!
Don’t Walk, Run To Snag These Fuzzy, Ugly-Cute Birks & UGGs
Because these shoes are so popular (and hard to find in-stock), this is a follow-up to my original post on uber-comfy cozy shoes. I’ve been wearing my ugly-cute shoes basically on the daily for weeks now, and they make me so ridiculously happy. Not only are my feet comfortable (happy feet = happy Linzi), but the so-ugly-they’re-cute thing is real — they’re so charming!! I love them with all of my usual outfits.
These fuzzy Birkenstock sandals are absolutely ridiculous AND ridiculously ah-mazing! Cuter in person than I thought they would be and so dang fun to wear! I think they’d be fun with fall midi dresses in addition to denim. Warning: they’re going to get filthy, and I have no idea how to keep them clean. Thinking maybe the dry cleaners that clean UGGs will take these on as a project? They do come in black on Birkenstock’s site, but I like the look of the fuzzy light pink or cream better.
Walking on squishy marshmallows. That’s kind of all I need to say about these fabulous UGG boots, I think. Zipper in front makes them easy off-and-on, and they’ll look even cuter once I start sporting my fav Uniqlo puffer (back in stock). And oh dear….they’re also available in SILVER!!! And black and green, too. But SILVER, guys!!!
Where To Buy: Nordstrom (still fully stocked – yay!!!)
These are the most-worn piece in my closet this month…by far! Having a very difficult time wearing any other pair of shoes. These lined mules are the absolute perfect transition shoe when you’re not quite ready to give up your easy slip-on Birks, but it’s too cold for summer sandals.

Okay, guys…these Birks were indoor shoes last year, but this fall they’ve come out to play in the wild. I’ve been wearing my lined mules so much (in brown), that I’ve decided to throw these sandals in the mix as my black running-out-the-door-can’t-be-bothered-with-restrictive-shoes pair. I love them! I’m also loving this black and white version…that maybe I should use as my new indoor shoes??
Here’s to happy feet….always!
