Ohhh man, Em. This Nordstrom haul is speaaaking to me. As a self-proclaimed neutral-lover, I’m with you. I tend to go for a lot of neutrals too, but with all of the playful stuff out right now, how can we not be inspired? Like, the adding actual color and patterns to our wardrobe kind of inspired. Anyone else on the fish print bandwagon the way that we are? Are you with us?

So, that’s exactly what Em gave us in her recent Nordstrom haul video. I mean, it’s no secret that we’re big Nordstrom shoppers, and they tend to have both classic and trendy pieces, so Em includes a little bit of both. It’s basically chock full of playful outfit-makers that can easily be incorporated into our neutral-loving closets, and won’t get sick of by next season (a very necessary shopping-thought-process). Don’t worry, though, fellow neutral-lovers. There’s some of those neutrals peeking in, too.

Nordstrom Summer Picks For Playful Wardrobe Inspo

This dress is a perfect example: neutral, but patterned and swingy. Pockets, because we’re realistic and deserve real pockets. Can wear it as a maxi dress, or unbutton it and wear it over shorts or jeans for a boho-esque moment. Easily transitions into fall, too. Oh, and soft. Always need the softness.
