Gang! Shopbop is having a 4-day surprise sale! Unlike their usual sales which tend to be ‘buy more, save more’…this one is just a bunch of really good pieces (surprisingly good, actually, considering the time of year), newly marked down.

Not to be missed? My favorite L’Agence Denim Jacket, in the softest-ever denim. I wore it alllll Spring and Summer (and frankly, I’m wearing it still – it layers beautifully under warmer coats). Looks like a denim jacket, feels like a cardigan.

Next up? My most-worn Weitzman OTK boots. I still swear by these things. They help transition all sorts of dresses into cooler weather, make my workout-leggings look like real clothes, and are still my go-tos over skinny jeans when it’s cold outside. Shopbop has a soft, dark gray on sale, and I think it’s a perfect color (especially over black – the similar but not matching tones are actually easier to work with).

Lastly…hmmmm. Personally, I’m obsessed with Clare V’s tiny duffle bag….but there’s a SAM puffer coat and a little leather skirt I am definitely getting (to wear over leggings and OTK boots) and so many good pairs of jeans and OH MAN THAT GLAM PJ SET GAH.

Whatever. I’m no help. Just keep reading.

    • It’s funny, I was JUST thinking about this. Someone else just wrote in, frustrated with all of the cropped denim shapes as we go into winter. (Bare ankles in snow? What.) And while I love my cropped flares or straight legs, once it’s really cold outside, I go back to my skinnies. And at this point, I’ve hacked off exactly 100% of my skinny jeans. So I either end up wearing my Weitzman OTK boots (because then the crop doesn’t matter) or my Sorels (which are high enough to cover the cropped part). So YES – still relevant, AND mine have held up perfectly. They still basically look new (new-ish??) and I’m not at all precious with them. I wear them all winter (2 or 3 years running now), in all of the snow and ice.

    • I haven’t ever treated mine…I know I probably should. The best I’ve done is wipe them off completely if they got salt on them (in the winter).
