You guys. I mean…there are jeans involved, too, but we really need to talk about this sustainably made denim jacket. Right now. I haven’t liked a denim jacket this much since my fancy L’agence one. And while I’ll still give a nod to the L’Agence one for being my absolute fav…it’s also $236 more(!!) than this seriously chic and affordable option.

The fit, you guys: it’s perfect. And the jacket has enough stretch to be comfortable, too.
Liverpool reached out recently, asking if we’d like to check out their new sustainable collection. I haven’t worn Liverpool in years, but I remember Scotti really liked their jeans (and we all love the heck out of sustainability,) so this was an easy yes.
Liverpool’s sustainable collection (of which both the jacket and jeans are part of) has received an EIM score of 31, making the production a “low” environmental impact. The denim is aniline-free, recyclable, the tags are made from 100% recycled material and the buttons are hardware are chemical-free. Furthermore, 70% of the water used was recycled, and 72% of the energy used is renewable.

The jeans run pretty TTS, if not the tiniest bit small. I’m wearing my usual size 26 here (oh — listed as size 2 at Nordstrom), but I almost want to try one size up.
For those of you looking for a high-rise jean that isn’t aggressively high…these are perfect.

I’m really feeling the head-to-toe denim look right now. Especially when it’s done in stretchy, comfortable sustainable denim. And before someone asks: YES. I did hack the bottom of the jeans off with scissors. I think they need another inch off, actually.
