I recently picked up this Nina Simone top from Black-owned business Grant BLVD. They’re local to Philly and uber-focused on sustainability. This particular top, for example, is made from old shirting fabric, so each one is a little different. AND?
They come with a matching face mask.
Grant BLVD’s Nina Simone Top (Sustainable & Seriously Cute)

I went with a size medium, simply because I like the colorful stripe of this particular top, but the sizing is so forgiving that I could easily have fit a small, too.
I like that these tops stay firmly off the shoulder, and they are so lightweight (and comfortable) even in the heat. The vibe is flirty and playful, and a nice twist on a menswear shirt.
Bra? I’m just wearing a strapless. And if you are a nursing mama, the neckline is nice and stretchy — these tops would be perfect for nursing.

But go and check out Grant BLVD. In addition to this Nina Simone top, they also have seriously cool tees with sustainable, social justice or Philly slogans.

If you’re trying to promote this business, you should probably edit this post — you have the name wrong two of the three times you mentioned it.
Girl. It’s summer. We’re doing the best we can.
😉
This is so cute! Thanks for the sizing note; if you’re in a medium that means I would probably need to size up to account for broad shoulders (“off the shoulder” styles are always snapping back up on me). I love a lot of their other reclaimed blouses, too.
