In recent weeks, significant changes have been made to federal government websites, removing critical health resources, research data, and scientific information. These changes also include the elimination of content on gender, diversity, and environmental justice, making it more difficult to access essential resources. To help, we’ve compiled a list of trusted websites where you can find vital information on women’s health and safety, immigration rights, LGBTQ+ support, and more. If you’re looking for ways to take action, we’ve included some suggestions here.

Take Action:

Support Scientific Research

  • Email your state’s Attorney General about the current federal admin’s cuts, freezes, and destruction of research funds:
    • A number of state AGs have already signed onto a lawsuit. If you live/vote in one of those states (Massachusetts, Michigan, Illinois, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin), email your AG to thank them for standing up for science!
    • If you live/vote in a state NOT on that list, email your AG to ask why they’re not standing against this material threat to projects like those that aim to provide computing education to children in rural schools, or improve survival rates of adolescents and young adults facing chemotherapy complications.
    • Remind them that healthcare research SAVES LIVES and that, by standing up, they can help continue scientific advancement, improve the wellness of all citizens. Find your state Attorney General here.
