Saks’ Black Friday sale is a really good one – and keeps getting better. A bunch of fresh new products were just added into their sale section (like, today), so we, per usual, took another look. In addition to some of the major designer discounts from our first go-around (like this), we’re now seeing more of the wear-everyday pieces we love to score at Saks (like this Varley zip-up – one heck of a hoodie upgrade, right?). A few go-to brands worthy of a quick peek? Start with rag & bone – our entire team owns (or is eyeing up) jeans from rag&bone’s new ‘featherweight’ line (like these or – ooo – these cargos), and we have high hopes. Vince has a lovely selection on sale, but this cashmere sweater is our top pick. It’s so thick, soft and unexpectedly chic that it’s been included in our ‘best of’ cashmere guide for three years straight. Good American’s denim jumpsuit looks good on EVERYONE (all sizes, all body types, IYKYK) is also – finally – on sale. And if you just want a happy little shirt, this one is adorable (actually, the whole Free People sale section looks pretty great).

SOMETHING I OWN: My 2024 cashmere guide just dropped, and this sweater from French brand Lou Lou Studio was one of my very top picks. It’s so drapy and stunning in person. The color I’m wearing is *not* on sale, but the gray one is (and selling fast). If you can snag one, I highly recommend.
SOMETHING IN MY CART: This pair of rag & bone cargo jeans look so freaking cool. I did a little digging, and it sounds like reviewers (on rag&bone’s site) like them (ps. they run a little roomy). Personally, I can’t stop thinking about them. If they don’t work out, however, I may also try Re/Done’s stretchy jeans. That faded blue wash is freaking perfection, and these have that sexy, 70’s, girl-next-door vibe I love.

ONE: Feels like Saks made some huge pricing mistakes on TONS of gorgeous pieces. This THEORY sweater I’m wearing above was originally $345 and is now $83!! Or…these winter boots (that just jumped in my cart) are only $115 and are usually almost $400! My $400 clogs are now $120 — what.is.happening??? This sale is WILD!
TWO: I wanted to show you the sizing on this sale Eileen Fisher sweater (also on sale at Nordstrom). I’m wearing an XS, but wish I would have sized up to a S or even a M. I like the more oversized look on the model. Great piece, though. And would look amazing with all the incredible sale boots/clogs below!

This Freestyle Down Puffer jacket from Sam. is one of my favorites and it’s $100 off in a ton of colors right now. It’s hard to find a puffer coat that you could describe as sexy, but I think this one is as close as it comes. It isn’t too oversized (I actually sized up to a medium) and the nipped-in waist along with the strong shoulders and stand up collar give it a nice shape that accentuates curves.

Amy’s Top Saks Black Friday Sale Picks
Dress (M) | Sweatshirt (M)
ONE: This dress is incredibly pretty in real life (and on sale for under $100!!). I love it worn loose but it would be equally as good cinched up in the middle with a belt. There is an attached slip on the inside for zero wardrobe malfunctions, and the best part is the slimmer arms that offset the flowy body. Everything was done JUST right with this one. (PS – there’s a few sizes left in the lighter color, too).
TWO: This sweatshirt BUT in a really rad peachy hue. I wouldn’t normally show you something in such a different color, but Anine Bing sweatshirts are iconic and are VERY rarely on sale. They are well made and always have the best fits. This one is TTS, which I love, and after a few years of wearing it is still top notch.

ONE: Um, adorable. The most flattering tees are Rag & Bone’s and I love the embroidered versions. This one says “Star Crossed Lovers” and the 90’s Romeo + Juliet lover in me is smitten. TTS, so soft, size up if between. Wearing a S.
TWO: Honestly, if I only had to wear Rag & Bone the rest of my life, I’d be just fine. The Miramar Sid Carpenter jeans I love (they’re actually knit!) are also on sale at Saks. If you too currently hate waistbands, these are for you. I’d say true to size on these if you have a butt/thighs, but otherwise perhaps size down. Wearing a 30, but prob could have stuck with a 29 since I need to wash them after each wear. $168 down from $225!

ONE: These Good American Good Legs flare jeans are so flattering on my pear-shaped, midsize frame. Comfy, with no waist gap, and tailored looking – I love these.
TWO: I just love this gorgeous vermillion-colored Vince cardigan. I think this is perfect for casual holiday parties, and it’s Vince, so I know the sweater will wear well over time.

ONE: If you’ve been on the fence about these Sofie Featherweight Jeans, this sale makes them not quite affordable, but it takes some of the sting out – and I’m going to promise that if you’re considering investing in a pair of denim, these WILL get their monies’ worth because they’re just so dang comfy. Trousery vibes make them feel really elevated despite the fact that you’re basically wearing lounge pants. (To be clear, they *are* denim and they have real denim details, but they’re so light and buttery…gahhhhh). True to size – wearing a 25, and I’m 5’5” and hacked them to wear with flats and sneakers since the hem was already raw.
TWO: Ok, I feel like the most wearable colors of this Cinq A Sept Khloe Hooded Blazer almost never go on sale, so the fact that the “cinnamon oatmeal” color is $200 off seems like a very big deal. I can’t imagine an outfit this wouldn’t complete – from leggings to just about any cut of denim.

ONE: Staud Bean Bag – One of my go-to bags for years. The color on sale is a gorgeous blue in suede, and I can see how it can be the perfect neutral bag to go with everything – yes, even your holiday outfits.
And if you’re looking for a sequined romper like mine, this one by Maje looks stunning. My boots are also on sale in other colors but limited sizing.
TWO: Frame Double Waist Barrel Jeans – A waistband like this is a winner for me. It’s concealing, and looks amazing. Pair with your favorite sweater and boots for the coziest chic look.

TWO: Rag & Bone Peyton Mid-rise Boot-cut Jeans – These mid-rise boot-cut jeans are exactly what I’ve been looking for.
