Hey hey, Friday! Anyone else feel like February is zooming past?! Phew, mid-month already. Let’s get right to the good stuff: the best President’s Day sales this weekend.

Saks is running one of their spend/get promos (starts on orders $250+, use code: MYGCSF), including Amy’s quilted Free People jacket! It’s just the thing to add a little whimsy back into daily dressing (because putting on clothes should be fun). It pops as a statement piece over a lounge set (S’ matching sweater & joggers are also on promo) and takes a white tee + jeans outfit up a notch. BTW, these featherweight jeans from rag & bone? So worth it — S loves the faded blue wash and the fact that they look like 100% cotton, yet they’re lightweight, soft and forgiving.

Hey hey, Friday! I hope everyone is surviving winter still. In true Aquarius fashion, I’m still bday celebrating with a bookclub party tonight at my house. What can I say, birthdays are for celebrating, y’all. Do it up. And I have the best bookclub friends. We just read Hello Beautiful last month and if you haven’t read it yet, treat yourself. I think we ALL adored it. What a lovely book.

President’s Day Weekend sales are good, my friends! I want everything new + 30% off at J.Crew (especially this oversized shirt) my beloved waterproof Blondo knee boots are HALF off now at Nordstrom and my most-worn black camo Vuori Performance joggers are on sale, which is rare. I don’t even know how many times I’ve worn them over the past 3 years and they’re still going strong. Happy Weekend! xo

Free People cropped sweater, Everlane puffer vest

Sweater (m) | Vest (s)

ONE: We cover this baby a lot but it’s because it’s the best. The Free People Easy Street Crop Pullover is 40% off in a few shades at Backcountry! This is the biggest markdown I’ve seen. TTS. So soft, but still has structure, and isn’t that cropped if you’re shorter. I’m 5’4” and wear size M. LOVE it so much. | Similar Jeans

TWO: This Everlane ReDown Vest has the sleekest lines and prettiest cut of any puffer vest I’ve tried. And now it’s on sale for 30% off. The finish is matte and the collar is so freaking cool. Just slightly oversized fit but I wouldn’t size down. Stick with your true to size to have more room for layering. Click through and check out their styling on the site. SO good.

This week has been a blur. I’m trying to come up with some clever quip or funny story for you guys, but…I got nothin. SO…sales it is.

Madewell’s extra 30% off sale is really good. I love the unique details of these jeans. They come in standard, petite, plus and tall sizes for the perfect fit, and are down to $70 (from $138) in the bag with code: EXTRAEXTRA (I’d wear them with this cami that’s down to $15!). I also need to pick up this sweatshirt to wear around Shana. 🤣

Enjoy the weekend, everyone!

Sam Edelman heel sandals, Abercrombie & Fitch high rise wide leg jeans

Blazer (4), Sandals | Jeans (28R), Bodysuit (m)

ONE: The block-heeled sandals I wear with everything from jeans to dresses are on sale in a TON of colors right now…and the J.Crew blazer I’m wearing here is also 30% off! Laura and I both love this one–it comes in regular, petite, and tall sizes as well as navy and grey. | Similar Shirt | Similar Jeans (on sale!)

TWO: These High Rise Wide Leg Jeans from Abercrombie are selling fast while they’re on sale! Also in a Curve Love version, these are made with Tencel!! (So they’re super soft and lightweight–comfy!) | Sneakers

Who’s ready for the weekend?! ME, I am. I need some coffee and a few naps, haha. My brain is mostly mush this Friday morning so let’s jump to some thrilling sales, shall we?

The most exciting: When I’ve purchased the same item more than once and have worn them repeatedly for years, that’s how I know it’s an all-time wardrobe staple. They are a rare few, but this top is one of those (I wear a medium and it’s still loose + slouchy) and just so happens to be 25% off in cart right now! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it on sale?! But with multiple colors to choose from it’s so worth scooping up.

The most intriguing: These. I’ve been curious about this style for a long time but now with THAT color being on sale?! Oh man…

The most random: The charging station we keep in our kitchen is 50% off, so, there’s that!

Free People fair isle sweater, cable knit cardigan

Sweater (m) | Cardigan (l)

ONE: I wanted this sweater all winter, since I first saw it, but hesitated when I read some lackluster reviews. NOTE TO SELF: THIS IS THE LAST TIME I LISTEN TO REVIEWS outside of gaining sizing insight. The print is gloriously original, and the very reason I was drawn to it – but the fabric, which is soft and cuddly, unique yet super well done, is what sealed the deal for me. The body has a perfectly swingy shape with sleeves that have a hint of extra length for a slouchy silhouette. It’s 10/10 for me (and currently 32% off!).

TWO: Run! Free People is hosting a 25% off sale on “cozy styles” – aka epic sweaters, vests, jackets, etc to get us through the rest of winter. This cardigan is 5-star for a reason, it is deliciously soft and actually quite warm. I often size down in FP but stuck to my true size here to compensate for the crop, however all the reviewer images wearing the cardi cropped/slung open over another layer are amazing. I badly want a brighter color – the lilac or dazzling blue are STUNNING.

This week flew by! Wow. Next week the kids have their winter break so we’ll spend some time upstate –  working on some pockets of time while maybe, finally, learning to snowboard or ski (which is better?). We grew up in Colombia and while we do have snow mountains (nevados), skiing and those kinds of sports were not common or something we didn’t even know about. So, we need to learn along with our kids. Talking about Colombia, I’m so homesick right now I could buy the first airplane ticket and go by myself. #Immigrantlife.

Saks is killing me with the buy more, get more. This Farm Rio dress is my first summer purchase, and this one I may be wearing this weekend for dinner with friends.

Farm Rio floral mini dress, Cinq A Sept silky cargo joggers

Dress (xs) l Joggers (s) more color options

ONE: Farm Rio Floral Cotton Mini Dress – My husband came in as I was trying it on and he was “YES” jaja. I am obsessed with the colors and style. I’m looking for the perfect thigh high boots that fit my calves to wear with it, but I am also excited to wear it with sandals in late spring.

TWO: Cinq A Sept Giles Pants – Two years going strong. I wore them all over Rome last Spring and they were perfect. I also bring them to most of my travels in Colombia, and wear the heck out of them here in NY from Spring to Fall. They’re comfy, sophisticated and incredibly versatile while always helping you feel put together.

Em’s Top Sale Picks

Happy Friday, gang! My mom is here for a couple of days, we finally get to meet our Spanish “daughter’s” family this weekend (Maria lived with us for 5 months earlier this school year while she worked as a teaching assistant at Lana’s school), and we’re getting ready for next week’s “mid-winter break” from school and work. So lots going on, but also lots to feel thankful for. Also, we drove up to the city for dinner last night and it was still plenty light out at 6:15pm as we made our way up the coast. So ready for these longer evenings!

Ok, sales: I did a major closet cleanout this past week and started making a short list of some things I could stand to add. Remember going-out tops? I need something that’s the adult equivalent of that, ha. Something that’s interesting but low-ish maintenance and looks grown up without being mistaken for an office blouse. Loving the idea of this one, especially at an additional 40% off. (Side note: should I do a post rounding up a few options?) Also eyeing up a pair of gray jeans in a baggy or wide leg style, and these baggy dad jeans are 30% off (I have them in the black and the fit manages to look much cooler in person than on the model). And, a new pair of not-all-white high tops; these Dunks are a cool neutral color combo (plus additional savings if you’re a member makes them almost 40% off).

rag & bone featherweight jeans

Jeans (tts)

Saks is having a Spend More / Earn More thing, and I can’t endorse these featherweight jeans enough for spring. They’re pricey, but the promo takes out a bit of the sting, and since they can be styled up almost like trousers, they’re fun to dress up a bit, too. I’ve been wearing them loads over the past 4 or 5 months. I hacked the raw hem for my 5’5” frame. Wearing my true size.

Anne’s Top Sale Picks

I’m downright giddy this week because I have the week off. To celebrate, I took a road trip to New Mexico, one of my favorite states. Between the mountains, the hot springs, and the incredible art scene, I’ve had an amazing time refilling my cup.

Soaking in the New Mexican sunshine and enjoying midday highs of 50 degrees, I’m starting to feel the release of winter and the beginnings of springtime. Despite my love for winter, there is something undeniably joyful about being part of the season when living creatures shake off the darkness and the time for contemplation for a fresh cycle of life. I already know that this spring, I’m going to be doubling down on my love of denim with these wide-leg jeans and also shaking my wardrobe up with more spring colors and floral prints like on this cool mesh top and this garden party-ready dress.

Madewell satin vest and midi skirt set, Abercrombie & Fitch trousers

Vest (10), Skirt (12) | Trousers (32)

ONE: The satin vest I’m wearing above (size 10) is one of the beautiful cool-toned colors I’m going to be incorporating into my spring wardrobe. I love the matching set trend, and although only the vest is on sale right now, the maxi skirt is still worth the full price for me since I can mix and match it with other items I already own so easily.

TWO: I call the A&F Curve Love Sloane Trousers my magic work pants. I have these trousers in multiple colors, and I love them. They are so comfortable and flattering. There are a ton of colors, and A&F also sells matching blazers for some colors if you want a full suit.
