Trend Alert: Mesh Flats For Spring

Mesh flats for spring? They might just indeed be groundbreaking.

The second I saw Amy was giving this mesh trend a try…yeah, I was way too curious. Like how does a mesh flat actually look on a foot? I know they look cute sitting there (I’ve seen with my own two eyes) but will they work with actual toes? I never put it to the test but thankfully, Amy’s here to save us all with three separate pairs from Anthropologie.

Trying Out The Mesh Shoe Trend: 3 Different Styles

I know mesh flats of sorts have been around for quite some time, but I don’t ever remember them being a huge “thing” (except maybe in the early 2000’s). At least, they weren’t as big of a thing as they are now — strutting on runways and finally trickling down into the retailers we shop.

Growing up, I’d see the mesh flats with little embroidered flowers and the most intricate details pretty often, but not quite like the current styles out there. They’re a little more sleek and dare I even say…sexy. You can definitely still find the pairs with pretty little details and embroidery, but this time around we have options, people! We like options. Take a look at Amy’s video so you can see for yourself.

Psst — curious about everything Amy’s wearing? You can find this latest video here on our Youtube channel. Just click “More” in the description and you’ll find allll of the outfit details and handy shopping links.
