Happy Friday!

Last weekend I whipped up this article having no clue that the next day I was going to get engaged! Ahh!! It’s been a fun week full of love and excitement and needless to say, I’ve got all things white & sparkly on the brain.

Em shared a pair of pumps she rocked at her own wedding reception, but now she brings them out for date night with distressed jeans and a graphic tee. So. cool. Then, Scotti found a gorgeous Victoria Emerson bracelet that’s the prettiest white & gray…they’re BOGO this weekend! While I’m at it, Jess found our beloved AG Farrah’s on sale in white, too. We plan to do some serious research into the best white jeans for summer, so stay tuned for that.

Linzi’s Sale Picks

Shoes and Stripes, Shoes and Stripes, Shoes and Stripes–that’s where my head is right now, and the sales aren’t helping. Some fantastic striped tops on sale at Madewell — an additional 30% off sale price. For shoes, Nordstrom has SOOOOO many good shoe sales right now. Lots of comfortable and cute Naturalizer boots and heels, a few pairs of MIA clogs under $70 that are perfect for spring, and several really pretty Jeffery Campbell Boots on sale as well. Not on sale, but everyone is going crazy for these Tretorns. Almost all sizes are sold out at Zappos, but J.Crew and Shopbop still have a lot of sizes. I already have two pairs of Tretorns, but this colorway is REALLY tempting for spring. So fresh, right? Okay…going to have to find someone to talk me out of purchasing a third pair. Scotti’s Sale Picks

Happy leap year? Leap year sales ABOUND this weekend…and I’m all for celebrating anything and everything, so I’m here for it! I do have to apologize, though, because last Saturday was National Drink Margarita Day, and I forgot to mention it in my sales post. We did celebrate, though, with Zack’s homemade margaritas. They’re crazy delicious. He squeezes a bunch of fruit (limes, tangerines, oranges), skips the triple sec, adds tequila and his “special ingredient” — a splash of olive juice. And, of course, salted rims. YUM. And that makes two sales reports in a row where I’ve mentioned tequila. You can tell where my mind is…but anyway. J. Crew is celebrating leap year with 29% off, Victoria Emerson is celebrating with BOGO her gorgeous bracelets, Revolve is having a huge outerwear sale, Banana is offering 40% off new arrivals and an extra 50% off sales…and I’m already exhausted with all the possibilities. I’m back from Florida, and I’m NOT HAPPY about it. It’s 14 degrees today, and I’m not finished pouting. Hmph. The good news is that spring is coming sooner rather than later. So right now, my style goal is to update my winter-to-spring transitional wardrobe with some new essentials, and this week’s sales do not disappoint! I found some SUPER-great transitional weather pieces on sale like J.Crew’s ultra-flattering V-neck denim jumpsuit. It works for spring with mules or strappy sandals (like these lace-up gold options on sale from J.Crew) AND for winter with a turtleneck and booties, plus these functional, versatile and CRAZY-CHIC Via Spiga Ella Mules on sale at Nordstrom. Hey, hey, friends! Back from Vegas and clearly in the mood for all things casual (Stan Smiths on sale!) and cozy — with just a handful of special items sprinkled in. (I meannnn, this tank and these heels — maybe not all the Vegas has left my system, after all…) We’ve been so spoiled this month with loads of bucket-filling time spent with friends and loved ones, and this weekend will be no different. We’ve got another friend in town today, more birthday parties this weekend, and I should probably re-stock the fridge at some point. I’ve been stubbornly trying to whittle down our freezer and pantry (yes, again — I swear, I get so much satisfaction out of living off of food that I’ve convinced myself is “free” — as if a bag of quinoa just took a Lyft to my house and strolled right in the door of its own accord…). Big weekend plans, I know, ha. Happy Friday, friends! 

Laura’s Sale Picks

Hey, friends. Coming to you from a gorgeously foggy morning here in Portland. The sun was trying to peek through earlier, but the fog is just so picturesque here. I’m totes OK with it on a slow Friday. A cold tried to bring me down yesterday, but I’m determined to kick it before I head to Palm Springs on Sunday! I’m attending creative conference Alt Summit for the first time, and super-excited (especially because one of my besties from Canada will be there!) I haven’t been to Palm Springs since a random family vacay in the ’90s, so I’m stoked to check out the colorful desert oasis. I’ll go visit a friend in Joshua Tree one day this week, too, and cannot wait to see that magical place. I’m sure I’ll share some fun stories on IG, so follow over there if you’re into it!
