Happy Friday!
While peeking through this week’s Sales Report as I do, Scotti’s moto jacket sale find totally caught my eye. “I REALLY miss my moto jacket,” I thought.
Cute Winter Basics + Fun Pieces For Spring & Summer On Sale
I’ll have to unearth that bad boy from the closet come spring. It’s always my favorite paired with a pretty blouse like this one (that lace is DREAMY…click through to see it). And I’ll probably be swapping any heels or booties for sneakers while we’re still taking distanced, long walks around the city. These P448s are on sale, and I’ve always wanted to try them. S, Kat & Laura all say they’re great.
Oh! And in un-related yet totally related news…Revitalash is on sale!!! Take 20% off with code GLOWUP. This has to be one of Scotti’s holy grail products and she loves the brow stuff, too.
Now let’s get into more SALES. Woohoo!

Happy March! This is one of my fave months of the year because it’s my husband’s birthday, holds the first day of spring, and we gain so much extra light in the sky each day. So many good things! I was also finding so many good things on sale — I was shocked to find a handful of my fave Lululemon pieces in their sale section. These 10” bike shorts are incredible for tall girls/long legs, I have 2 pair!! Also, a nice transition into warm weather when you still want that leggings vibe but don’t need so much coverage. Anthro’s sale section is extra fun, and I found myself swooning over this sequined mini dress that is on crazy good sale — with plus and petite sizing available!
Hope you all have a sweet sweet weekend. Xx

This week has been crazy busy, like so busy that I have been working till 11 pm most nights. Right now I am juggling so many projects, and it’s been a whirlwind to say the least. All of these major work projects have me dreaming about vacay, which is what inspired this week’s sales list. Right now, I am loving all shades of blue and I am obsessed with this eye-catching clutch! Oh, and these BCBG shoes are $36, and I want them in every color. This weekend is going to be just as busy, but hopefully, I will have some downtime to just relax. I hope you all have a restful weekend with a little bit of sunshine! XX

Spring is in the air here in Grand Rapids, although I know better than to get too excited about this non-freezing weather we are having right now — holding my breath for at least one more winter storm, but enjoying it while it lasts! Last week we safely enjoyed Downtown Grand Rapids with my parents who came to visit from Chicago — it was the best weekend I’ve had in probably close to a year.
Sales this week are GOOD, ya’ll. Gap is having an amazing extra 40% off bestselling sale items with the code: PERKS. Madewell is also 20% off of all reduced items with the code: HOWFUN, and at Anthro, it’s 25% off already reduced items. It’s never too early to start thinking about jean shorts, and Bloomingdales has tons of good ones, including these gorgeous light blue PAIGE Dani distressed shorts for 50% off! Happy Hunting friends!

Ozzie, our “easy one” has been finding his own voice lately. And it. Is. Loud. He is much louder than I ever remember Greenlea being…screaming is pretty much his favorite activity. His latest thing is yelling “dat’s enUF! Dat’s enUF…right…NOW!” after we do anything he doesn’t like. Asking him to lower his voice? “Dat’s ENUFF!” Putting him in a time out? “Dat’s enUFF right NOW!” The other day he opened the front door and screamed to the entire neighborhood that “dats ENUFF…RIGHT…NOWWWWWW!!!” Omg. This kid. I was wondering where in the world he got that phrase and then I caught myself saying, “that’s enough, you guys!” when the kids were wrestling aggressively. 🤦🏼♀️ Mystery solved. (I do vaguely remember my dad saying it to Shana and I back in the day…that and “shape up.” I’ll have to bring that one back too.)
Alright as far as sales go, I’m loving Backcountry right now because although their sale is “winter clearance” they have a ton of things on sale that will come in handy this summer…like this lightweight chair that can live in the trunk of your car for whenever you need it, and this heavy duty cooler bag that can hold 30 cans and actually keep everything cold (both 25% off). Both are perfect for everything from road trips to camping to days at the beach–and you know I’m already looking forward to those. Happy weekend, everyone!

Friday, how I’ve missed thee! I am having a “can’t even” week. My beloved shakti mat has been pulled out countless times to get me through. But hey, that’s OK, some weeks all you can do is pull on your favorite jumpsuit, take a perfume shower, attempt to control the small birds’ nest growing on your head and face the day.
Also, a big welcome to Chinny! I “knew” Chinny through IG before she started with TME and literally fangirled when she joined the squad. As a fellow newbie, so happy to have you on the team!

Hey-o, Friday. Writing to you from my favorite place on earth, the Columbia River Gorge. We came for one night for Pinky’s birthday and did a fabulously gorgeous hike yesterday on the way out. Check out my IG @laurajansenstyle for those views! On our way back we’re stopping at Sugarpine Drive-In. Stoked! Yum. If you ever get a chance to visit The Gorge, I highly recommend. It’s just over an hour from Portland and so, so worth coming past the popular Multnomah Falls to explore even more. (Stop and do see the falls though…stunning!) Speaking of Portland, I’m excited for the rebranding of one of my favorite local beauty brands, Clean Beauty Cult. I’ve used their Pumpkin Mask & Coco Skin Elixir for years now and they are insanely good. So hydrating, and the serum smells ah-mazing. Light, but gah. So good. If you’re local, they do the most lovely facials, too!
Ok, sales, friends. Good stuff! Athleta Friends & Family event is on. We have a team post out, but I included two favs below…these pants are so insanely soft it feels like you’re wearing pjs. And I’m on a real utility jacket kick right now. This one from Gap is SO cute and kinda different. Loving the pale green. Happy Weekend, y’all! xo

And the day has come. Colombia, here we go! I’ll be reporting from there for the next many weeks. “When will we get this opportunity again?” My husband and I said. So, we took it.
So since I’m in a Colombia mindset, I can’t stop thinking about bathing suits, summer dresses, and basics like this gauze button-down that’s 50% off. Luckily, J.Crew is having a flash sale on all things spring and summer…Use code GOSPRING and don’t miss it!

Dang friends, what a fun week this has been. First full week with the new trampoline. First time getting back to regular running in a loooong time. (Thanks to the Nike Run app and coached runs with @coachbennet — holy cow, what a difference it makes to have someone in your ear.) First time trying crossover leggings in 15 years! I covered the try-on in stories, but if you missed it, the punchline is that, for me, they’re very flattering straight on, but less so from the side since I carry my weight right in the area framed by the waistband. Hmmm… Super-comfy from a lounge pant perspective, though, and even cheaper now than last week.
But that was last week. This week I’m all about the rag & bone sale — Maya jeans for $90? Yes please. And in a washed black, too. (Annoyingly, you might have to enter your email and zip code to access sale prices. Worth it though, because there is SO MUCH good stuff.) And this James Perse sweatshirt for $39, usually $135. Easy living, folks. Happy weekend!
Linzi’s Sale Picks
Was on the phone with Shana this week discussing various medical appointments, my tooth that broke while eating a bagel, mammograms, LED light therapy wrinkle reducing devices, and facial exercises to decrease the effects of gravity on jowls. I am not one to focus on these types of topics usually…I’m overall super-healthy, I’m fine with letting my grays come in naturally, and am not afraid to stick with closet pieces I love that some may find “old-ladyish”. BUT this week, my conversation with Shana did give me pause. I think I need some spring time out-and about-ness to remind me I can talk with my friends about other topics in addition to medical appointments and wrinkle prevention.
On that note…each year that passes, I AM focussing more and more on being pickier about what enters my closet and am finding myself more drawn to some of the designer brands (especially on sale). I just got the MOTHER Tomcat Rollers in (they’re FUN!) and a different wash of this style is on sale here. These might be my answer to an on-trend style that is NOT a mom jean. And this beautiful EILEEN FISHER cardigan looks like it has the perfect drape for a forever-closet piece. Black-owned-business Lemlem’s stunning swimsuit (not on sale, but I can’t get it out of my mind) is more $ than I usually spend on swimwear, but it.is.beautiful. Be well, friends.
Xo,
Team TME
Linzi- I feel your pain on the topics of all things medical appointments, wrinkle-reducing, face toning!!! My friend and I were talking as I sat in my car in a pharmacy parking lot. The topic? Hair care, supplements for skin and hair, facials, to Botox or not to Botox, and the definition of aging gracefully while also trying to model body acceptance. By the end we were laughing and I was so thankful to have that moment in time. However, after a year of Zoom meetings all day every day, I would LOVE to hear how all of you take care of your skin. Because you all look flawless and I, do not…
