Hey, friends! How did the week go?

We got another surprise sale from Nordstrom (see our editor picks here) and overall, I’d say all the sales have been shockingly good.

If you’re not in a place of impulse shopping right now (or shopping at all) Syd + team pulled together an awesome article with 15+ Ways To Give (& Find) Some Relief During This Crisis. It’s definitely worth the read. But for my people who are looking to escape and do a little sale shopping, that’s great too. We’re going to keep rolling this article out every Friday for the foreseeable future!

Shop Editor Picks On Sale: Anthropologie, Nordstrom, J. Crew & More Of Our Favorite Retailers

In the spirit of keeping things status quo, I have to mention some of my fav finds from below…like this sexy-yet-totally-comfy henley Scotti has. If you caught her IG live with S this week, she was wearing it and it just looked great. (Can I have some of that pretty, please?)

Jess & Laura found adorable mugs. One says Let’s Stay Home (appropriate) and the others? Bright, fun travel mugs by Clare V. (yes, the bag goddess) — I’m suddenly extra picky about my mugs and could use some fun ones.

And finally — Em just ordered the prettiest summer jumpsuit. If you want to see what the heck kind of bra she’ll wear with that cut-out, head on over to our new Facebook Group: The Mom Edit Insiders! Big convos happening over there…

Thank you for being here (from the bottom of our hearts). Keep hanging in there! Keep scrolling for our highly-edited picks on sale.

Laura’s Sale Picks

Wow, are sales good right now and all the spring pieces online are so inspiring…whether you’re shopping or just window shopping for later. I decided to go mostly cozy and practical in this particular round-up but with a few gorgeous dresses thrown in (they are simply stunning). Anthropologie is having 40% off dresses and jewelry right now and I think the two below are just phenomenal. Abercrombie has some cozy cute items on sale if you want a break from your old sweatpants (I think it’s time for me to mix it up, y’all.) Those Gap cutoffs are calling my name. They’re the right amount of distressing and a really wearable length that looks cute with wrap tops or cropped blouses that hit right at the waistline. I’ve styled this type of short up before if you want ideas. Stay home, stay cozy this weekend. And thank you SO much to those workers who have to be out there right now. You are seriously our heroes. xo

Well Monday is Zack’s birthday…whoo! It might be a little less exciting this year, for obvious reasons, but Greenlea (a true lover of all-things-holiday-and-birthday-related) is very excited. (And I just used “excite” in that sentence twice because my brain literally couldn’t think of another word. That’s where we are these days, folks.) She’s already planning the day around celebrating her Dad. “We’ll get up and let him sleep in and make him a special breakfast and then we’ll have cake and it’ll have to be a secret–what kind of cake should we make, Mom?” So after much discussion it will be a secret cake with purple frosting and sparkly sprinkles. (Just Dad’s favorite.) The best news about this weekend (aside from cake, of course) is that we FINALLY GET TO SEE MOM. We’ve been quarantining by ourselves since March 13 (as has she) and tomorrow makes 15 days. We’ve at least had each other, but she’s been alone in her apartment. I cannot wait to give her a hug (and maybe never let go) and share a glass bottle of wine. So hugs, wine and purple frosting. Enjoying the simple pleasures this weekend.

Jess’ Sale Picks

Well, every day it seems like I’m leaning more and more towards comfy loungewear (and yoga wear). I don’t know if this is a sign of things to come for me, but I feel like next my shopping list should include a pretty floral dress or something to remind me to be hopeful (at least this is the excuse I’ve created to justify buying stuff that I don’t need right now). How are things holding up with you all? Last night, I was trying to lift my spirits by dancing to old school Selena (the OG Selena) music while washing dishes when I sliced my finger up properly. Under normal circumstances, I would have gone straight to Urgent Care but instead I was like, ‘naaaah, I’m good…’ cleaned it, wrapped it up and tried to pretend it didn’t happen. So….that’s how I’ve been doing, how are YOU?? LOL.

Em’s Sale Picks

Alright guys, I’m finally thinking beyond the confines of this house. Not that we’ll be going anywhere soon (in fact, we just got the heads up that schools in our area will now be closed until at least May 1), but there’s too much summery gorgeousness floating around out there to ignore right now — and bonus! It’s all on sale. (Quick note: check my shopper captions, because the prices aren’t reflecting all the discounts.)

Top picks this week: 1) this linen-blend jumpsuit, which has the most gorgeous proportions (I just ordered it; hoping that, if it works, I can offer a few ways to style it up soon!). 2) This gold glitter mascara, which is totally not something I would usually go for, but it would give such a playful, unexpected pop to a barely there summer face (just add bronzer). 3) These jeans! Admittedly, I’m going by one single review that says they behave much like Levi’s rigid denim, but for $27, they’re worth a try. (Note that Lucky jeans tend to run small in my experience, so I’m going to size up.) Oh — and they’re not exactly summery, but these gorgeous leopard boots are usually $258 at J.Crew, on sale for $40 thanks to additional 60% off sale with code SHOPNOW! And still pretty well-stocked. I mean…why not?! Happy weekend, friends.

Xo,
