Oh hey, Friday.

The sales haven’t let up, so let’s talk about ’em. Nordstrom is doing something a bit different today with their “brands sale” (check it out here if you haven’t already — ends soon) and just about every retailer we love (J.Crew, Anthro, etc.) is stepping up to the sales plate!

Some of my favs? Well, S has been rocking this very cool Anine Bing tee that happened to go on sale. Also, Linzi is BACK after a little Sales Report hiatus and sharing all the great shoes, per usual (like tie-dye sandals)…Ooooo…

Missed those two!

Other than that, we’ve got plenty of fun, springy picks below. Thanks to ALL of the great sales right now, this week’s post got a little lengthy. If you’re looking for one editor in particular, simply use a jump link below. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

Cute, Comfy & Colorful: Spring Favs On Sale

Shana’s Sale Picks

Well…the sales finally got me (and I think I’ve been inside too long). I bought colorful things (??!!) at J.Crew this morning…and finally splurged on a couple of Vince pieces that were marked down too significantly to ignore at Nordstrom (these sandals, specifically). Social Threads (a small business based in NJ) is having a major sale (40% off, all sales final)…AND donating 10% of their profits to Direct Relief.

Laura’s Sale Picks

Hey, friends. The ups and downs right now, amiright? I too, like Shana, have been uncharacteristically drawn to color lately. I mean…a bubble gum pink tank top below? WHO am I really? But it is spring after all and the flowers are starting to be gorgeous and I guess I’m just getting jealous of them. I’ve been ordering flowers weekly from the lovely Coy & Co here in Portland (you can see the anemones on my Instagram), and boy has it been brightening my home office and all my days. The ranunculus I have this week are insanely beautiful, friends. It’s definitely the little things right now that are helping. As far as sales go, I’m eyeing those bracelets at Anthro, that shimmery gold top (why the heck not?!) and those camo joggers. Happy Passover, Happy Easter and Happy spring flowers, my friends. xo

Em’s Sale Picks

Is anyone else totally in denial that it’s Easter Weekend? We don’t necessarily follow many specific Easter traditions, but at the very least it’s typically an excuse to get together with both of our parents and enjoy a spring-themed meal (usually avoiding ham, ever since the year we decided it would be a good idea to watch Babe and then tuck into a Honeybaked…). This year will, unsurprisingly, be a bit different. We’re dying eggs with the kiddo today, and I’m pulling together the fixins for an Easter basket from the stockpile of misc. craft materials and small gifts I hoard away in the guest room closet over the course of the year (#monicacloset, much?). We might even follow Laura’s lead and bring some fresh blooms into the house. And brunch. Thinking of doing a bowl situation (shocker) like these Ultimate Brunch Salad Bowls — maybe swapping out the salmon for this homemade turkey + bacon sausage (are all your markets sold out of pre-made sausages, too?), and swapping in roasted sweet potatoes.

And now, the sales: I kept things super simple this week. There are LOADS of sales happening, but I can’t pull myself away from Nordstrom’s Spring Event. It keeps getting better and better, with discounts now up to 60%. Particularly eyeing these FRAME Le High Skinnies for $99 (!!!) and am totally intrigued by these RE/DONE Cropped Bootcut Jeans that are 60% off. And this one-size-fits-all cocoon of a sweater is only $42 at Anthro (with additional 30% off in cart), and it feels like the perfect item to schlep around in at home now and then drape over the back of your desk chair to combat air conditioning later. Works for me. Happy Easter/Passover, friends!

Linzi’s Sale Picks

Hi guys—-I’m back. Took a little break from the Weekly Sales Reports the past few weeks, but this gal is VERY ready for a distraction today. I started perusing the sales, and all I want to look at are the comfortable and cute shoes. Imagine that! I have to say…looking at all of these and picturing how I would wear them now as well as later has been quite a lovely mini-escape from reality this afternoon. A wonderful distraction for those of us window shopping and great sale prices on really good shoes for those of us buying. Hope everyone is finding their own little peaceful escapes this weekend.

Scotti’s Sale Picks

Happy Easter weekend, everyone! This weekend is obviously going to look a lot different for a lot of us, but if you’re looking for some ideas on how to celebrate with the kiddos (including quick and easy crafts and online church services), check out my “Celebrating Easter During a Pandemic” post. This weekend we’ll be celebrating by dyeing eggs, attending some online church services and listening to all the songs we’d normally be singing at one of those services. And drinking mimosas. There will be mimosas. Cheers, everyone, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend with loved ones…on FaceTime, Zoom, or Houseparty, of course.

Xo,
Team TME
