Woohoo, it’s Friday!! I don’t know about you guys, but I feel like I can breathe easier than I have in months. Must be that Light Therapy Lamp I’ve been using. 😉 Seriously, though, as our local Covid numbers soar and the sun goes down earlier, and we’re at home all the time, it really does seem to be helping. I was skeptical, but the reviews got me–and I’m glad I bought it!
There are a few favorites I have to share with you guys this week. First, you guys might have seen this tag necklace from ABLE in a few of my posts (it’s my favorite and I rarely take it off,) and right now they’re offering 25% off their personalized jewelry with code PERSONAL25. (I love this bar necklace, too.) And staying on the jewelry trend, I just got some stackable rings from Pandora that are gorgeous–and they’re offering 35% off site-wide every Friday in November. (That’s an amazing deal!) I love the personalized aspect of their jewelry.
In other sales news, Express is starting their Black Friday early with 50% off for reward members (it’s free to sign up). I just got these sequin pants in the mail and they’re amazing. Stretchy, comfy and sparkly! And Athleta fans, they’ve started their Black Friday as well with 20% off your purchase. I can’t stop wearing these velvet tights and these warm Altitude tights (in regular, petite, tall and plus sizes–I just bought the grey myself). Em’s Sale Picks
Should we even talk about the fact that it’s Friday the 13th? And that the last time it was Friday the 13th, everything got turned on its head? Crossing my fingers that the surge in COVID (we knew it was coming…) isn’t as disruptive this round. But then again, we’ve more or less been hunkering down since March, so what is there to disrupt? Bring on all the 3-Ingredient (almost vegan!) Peanut Butter Ice Cream. If it got me through Election Week, it can handle just about anything…
So many fun sales continue this week. J.Crew’s Friends & Family event is on (45% off for email subscribers with code FAMILY), and this is most definitely my top pick. Perfect for the holidays, but you could kinda make it punk rock the rest of the year, too. Anthro is still doing additional 40% off sale clothing, and this has got to be one of the most flattering dresses I’ve ever seen. Also eyeing this blouse, which is equally gorgeous but has a little more volume to allow for seasonal eating. (See above re: pb ice cream.) The graphic tank I’ve been wearing for almost two weeks straight is on sale at Shopbop — and these waterproof Chelsea boots are the least rain-boot-looking rain boots (words are hard) I’ve seen, and they’re just $38. I intended to buy a pair just like this when I thought we’d be walking to school daily, but they’d come in just as handy for our post-dinner neighborhood adventuring. Oh! And I didn’t have room to drop them below, but these Free People leggings are super cute, well-rated, and just $33 (usually $98) in the wine color, which feels perfect for fall. Linzi’s Sale Picks
Another roller coaster of a week, but that’s kind of the new norm, right? All the COVID news I’ve gotten (from our outside-hang-out-friend-circle, as well as our city) is not good, so I’ve locked it down for the boys and I for the foreseeable future. We’ve been keeping sane with new LEGO sets, A LOT of chess, and skateboarding back and forth and back and forth and back and forth across our small kitchen and living room…obviously we’re talking ONLY about the kids’ sanity.
My sanity is coming obviously from locking myself in the bathroom and checking the sales. The sales are going to be so good from here on out …it’s just going to be a matter of what stays in stock. My Black Friday Game Plan came out this week, so I’ll let you guys know as some of these items go on sale (many already have!). Nordstrom is doing price matching on several pairs of MOTHER denim, I’m loving this brown and white stripe sweater from Banana, and J.Crew is running a Friends & Family sale. Dyson is already running great deals on my fav cordless vacuums (just make sure to get an Absolute if you have hard flooring). Also…several awesome Smartwool pieces including Smartwool socks on sale at Backcountry. Happy weekend and stay safe!
Laura’s Sale Picks
Hey, hey, Friday. We. Are. Almost. There, friends. A mere few weeks…and I know 2021 isn’t going to magically fix everything overnight, but lordy, just being IN a different year will feel better! I’m relishing these cozy days at home right now though (lounging on our new chaise with this new to-die-for-soft blanket) with my little gal. She eagerly reminds us every Friday now that it’s “Mandalorian night!” and growing up in a slightly-obsessed-Star-Wars-family, I couldn’t be more proud.
As for fashion fun, I rounded up some of the coziest and prettiest things I found on the interwebs in my Black Friday Wishlist post that came out the other day, all of which I’m hope hoping will go on sale this season. I’ll be sure to keep an eye out and include them here when they do! It includes some fashion finds, some kitchen goods and some gift ideas. I also just published a fun post asking “What’s Your Winter Coat Personality?” and in it there’s a SUPER-comfy, cozy pair of boots I think we all need this winter.

Cam’s Sale Picks
Okay, so this week was hard. I just felt so overwhelmed. Anyone else? I seriously had a few cry sessions in the closet, so…that’s when I know I need to breathe, slow down and let myself feel…without expectations of getting a lot done. Well, easier said than done. ha!! I do feel a lot better today, though, and have been able to face all the things with a calm mind. Yay! Maybe this will carry into next week (I can only hope).

This week’s sale picks are fun! The packable Patagonia look-a-like has me all oooOoooooo. Also, these 70s-esque flare jeans are my new favorites (ordered and tried on). They come in tall and long sizes, too, by the by.
Kat’s Sale Picks
“It’s Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday…” I have to say today, I am feeling so incredible! I had a super-stressful and highly anxious week, as I waited for a procedure to be done. It had failed several times prior, and I am ecstatic to report that this time it was successful! I am going to be getting outside this weekend for a much needed hike with one of my besties and cannot wait! Speaking of getting outside, have you seen my recent hiking trip to the Paint Mines?! It was absolutely breathtaking, and I had a slip-free experience in the best hiking boots (well actually sneakers) I have ever found!
The sales this week are beyond good! My favorite Good American jeans I bought during the Nordstrom Sale are finally on sale right now, and that supersoft sweater the entire TME team loves is back on sale again. I also want to mention that the Marmot jacket I recently got, while technically not on sale, is a steal and is under $100! There are sales galore this weekend, and I am planning on doing some major holiday shopping. I hope you all have a great weekend! XX – Kat
Julieta’s Sale Picks
Hola!! Week number 7272473737 of home renovation and still sleeping in the basement. On top of that, we’re now self-quarantining because someone we had contact with just tested positive. I live for the days my son’s cohort can go to school, and he couldn’t go today. My 3-year-old couldn’t go to pre-k either, which has my whole day in triple crazy mode. Praying, we’re all healthy and it’s only about precaution and social responsibility.
Now onto sales fast ’cause there’s a Colombia vs. Uruguay soccer match. This week I’m obsessed with this Bernardo Coat in all the colors!!! I’m also ordering all things Uniqlo. Heattech for the kids and myself (husband is always hot), this windproof fleece, and the ultra-light down jacket to wear as mid-layer with my favorite coats. More favorites below…
