It’s been A WEEK. The renovations finally started on our home post-snow apocalypse and this first-born, Type A, Capricorn is not handling the disruption well. My older children on the other hand are excited because it means school lunches. Kids are weird. But, the plus side is the sales are GOOD and apparently I’m everyone’s BFF based on the number of Friends and Family sale alerts I’ve received (it’s just me, right? 😉 ). I’m usually hunkered down waiting for our usual spring snowstorm to appear, but the future forecast, while sprinkled with some colder days, is wildly sunny and warm. I’m almost tempted to pack up my winter gear –– almost. It actually feels enjoyable to scour the spring clothing sections of the web right now! A lot of spring sales are happening, and I found some incredible jeans through Shopbop — including my favorite brand’s high-rise ankle crop jean on super sale, as well as my favorite wedgie jeans from Levi’s! Linzi’s Sale Picks
I have been BUSY trying on ALL the things these past few weeks, but I’m so glad because a ton of the pieces are on sale! While researching white tees (post coming soon-ish, I promise), I almost always test them out with my Cabo pants, MOTHER denim and Clare V bag. And drum roll please…Meredith and I are TOTALLY in sync with our sale picks this week…Cabo pants and a few MOTHER denim styles are both on sale, in addition to the Clare V Meredith and I have both been wearing on repeat (selfies of 6 ways I’m wearing my bag on IG).
Just got the new color of the Athleta Cabo Linen pants and they’re pretty ideal if you’re a wide-leg linen pants fan. Especially now that Athleta is running 20% off ALL bottoms. The textured pants are an even better color in person (a bit browner and a bit less orangey than the photos), look great with a white tee, and fit just like the regular Cabos. For you MOTHER denim sale obsessors (like me), I just came across some MOTHER Scrappers and MOTHER Pixies on sale (below)…keeping my fingers crossed the sizing availability will last for you guys.

Scotti’s Sale Picks
Happy Friday, everyone! Well, I have a date for surgery–July 14th. Part of me wishes it were earlier (I love Marquette in the summer) and part of me is happy I have some time. But at least I now have a date, a plan (I’m really into plans), and an idea of what the recovery period might look like. According to the doctors, I’ll be in the hospital for about five days and then will have my post-op appointment two weeks after surgery. Because we live over seven hours away, we’re just going to stay down in Ann Arbor for those weeks; I can’t imagine a car ride with kids will be that pleasant right after brain surgery. I’ll probably be doing a whole lot of sleeping, but if anyone has any suggestions for the kids it would be appreciated! (And I want to thank you guys again for your comments of support and prayers…we have the best community here!)
And looking at my picks, it’s clear I’m into some bright happy colors for spring and things that will make the most out of our time outside! This sunshade is SO nice for our family–Greenlea hates being in the sun, so we use ours at the beach, in the front yard, up at camp, wherever. Oh and this table?? It’s amazing. The top rolls up and the legs fold, so it fits into a small transport bag to take anywhere. I love being able to keep food off the ground and have places to put things without getting them full of sand or dirt. So nice!
Laura’s Sale Picks
Hey, hey Friday. Here we are. Weekend time and hints of spring and our friend Scotti has a treatment plan…thankful. This time of being apart from my fav team of women is killing me. We do live all over the country, but we typically get together once a year and it’s been WAY longer than that now. I’m missing these rad gals I get to work with SO much. We love you, Scotti.
As far as the sales go this week…definitely snag these comfy wide-leg, fold-over waist pants from Athleta for 20% off. They are one of the softest things I own but can be styled so cutely with a knotted tee and long cardi (you can see that here if you need visuals like me…just pop down to my section there.) And speaking of cute knotted tees, this adorable zebra print top from Zelie for She is on sale. Love! My weekend plans are to chill with a cup of my fav matcha…hot or iced will depend on our up and down spring weather…and finally watch Moxie (oh and perhaps re-watch Men in Kilts…right? Em’s Sale Picks
Hey, hey from the mountains, gang. We snuck in one more adventure week before school resumes in April (like, for real, in-person — cue a mixture of excitement and anxiety) and it was so fun getting to ski a full day with Chris and my stepdad — who taught me to ski, but we haven’t skied together in 20 years! We even got Lana onto the mountain. She was such a champ, powering through almost four hours on the hill without a single break or snack. I can’t remember the last time I closed down the lifts. And I finally caved and invested in Shana’s fave ski pants (after trying…and failing) to squeeze into mine from my pre-Lana days. That lady ain’t lying — these are some of the comfiest ski pants I’ve worn, just as good on the mountain as off.
Sales this week have me loading up my Liverpool jeans cart. If you missed it, I found some unexpected pieces I really love for spring that walk the perfect line between comfortable, chic and casual — and now I’m anxious to try their stovepipe jeans (on sale for $49), which have amazing reviews. Linking up a few others (also with rad reviews) below that caught my eye, too. And I can’t not mention that Saks Off 5th has quite a few washes of my fave rag & bone Dres on sale for $99 (plus they’re offering 25% purchases over $150). As soon as I saw these delicious Pastel Rainbow Gingham Sling-backs, I knew…it was time for me to get fully invested in finding Easter-worthy outfit components. Turns out I didn’t have to go far, because J.Crew has some good ish right now, my friends, and its all stuff I’d mix and match, wearing in all different variations (love it when that happens). I’ve been processing your outpouring love and support in my last post the past two days. It was something that, aside from my parents and siblings, only a handful of friends knew. Today I want to thank you for making this space a safe place to share one of those things no person should ever have to go through. Now sales-wise: Mango has 30% off with purchases over $180, and I can’t stop thinking about this ruched coral dress. The second thing in my mind is this Sweaty Betty sweatshirt in the prettiest colors with rave reviews, but I’m learning towards navy, haha. It’s a year-round color!

Wow, this week has been a whirlwind. I am so thankful that I am finally vaccinated and feel grateful that I am able to travel again (safely of course) and I am currently in Oklahoma with my baby brother looking at colleges.
