I’ve been on the search for some cute, spring/summer tops for WEEKS now, and though a few have caught my eye here but suddenly…THIS. Scotti found a perfectly springy top that won’t break the bank (it’s on major sale at the moment) and I think I’m going to have to snag it in orange.

Em’s Sale Picks
Well, folks — we made it through the first week of hybrid, in-person school. What a trip. To be honest, we were still a little hesitant about sending her back, right up until a couple of weeks ago, but after experiencing this first week (and seeing how much she has truly enjoyed meeting all of her Zoom pals in person), my spirit is so lifted. And I can’t complain about getting some time back to myself, either. I even went so far as to whip up this vegan peanut butter pie yesterday (it is SOOOOO good!). But that was at 11pm, so maybe not all that much has changed.
Things I’m excited about this week: ever since Gap wooed me back to their denim with their Girlfriend jeans (I’ve talked them to death, but if you missed my full review, check it out here), I’ve been tempted to try more styles, so I’m fairly intrigued by these. The wash looks really high-end, and the shape reminds me so much of my beloved long & lean jeans from decades past (remember those?!). And $29! Worth a try. And the Kyoto Free People leggings that the whole team swears by are almost 50% off in a couple of pretty, wearable gray shades. Might just be the perfect non-black leggings for summer. Oh, and speaking of summer, I popped over to Black-owned business The Tiny Closet yesterday, and (it’s not on sale, but…) this tie front blouse would be so lovely over a swim top or all manner of strappy bralettes for lounging. It’s dramatic, casual and sexy, and I can’t imagine it ever going out of style. Happy weekend, friends.
Kat’s Sale Picks
Is it just me or are other people feeling overwhelmed right now?! I am too busy for my comfortability and the next few weeks will be channeling all the inner zen I possibly can. I am excited for all the change that is on the horizon for me, but I can’t wait to get to the light at the other end of the tunnel. This week I am crushing on this and was also excited to see that my favorite space dyed leggings from Beyond Yoga are on sale. Sending you all the vibes for a relaxing weekend! XX
Amy’s Sale Picks
Hold the phone, there’s no time for small talk, because the bra that changed everything for me is on sale. While I recently tried on some amazing pieces from Negative here + here, those are not actually what I’m referring to. I found the True & Co buttery-soft bras marked down: this one with the adjustable straps is my fav because it’s the most universal, and here it is in DD+ sizes.
I’ve been wearing these bras for a few years, but the real surprise is how they were a BREATH OF FRESH AIR for breastfeeding. When I felt like I was in the same uncomfortable nursing bra for days, I would give my ladies a break and slip into a True & Co bra and — no joke — that buttery material was like a vacation for my nipples (just keeping it real). I finally have something interesting to say about what I’ve been up this week. My parents retired and bought a place right outside of Siesta Key! I finally got the chance to go see them in their new place. They are so happy here and that’s really what matters. I am beyond joyful to see them smiling after a rough couple of years. Every time I step out into the hot sun, I can feel my body slowly release tension that’s been building up almost to a breaking point over this last year. So I’ve been eating lots of fish, drinking all the fruity drinks I can stomach, and walking on the beach. Life is good, ya’ll.
Also, sales this week were really, really good (so I did have to do a few more than usual). My favorite sales lately have been at Gap — their jeans are making a comeback, and they are all on sale. I’ve ordered a ton of denim shorts and a few of my favorite jeans for a try-on session so stay-tuned for that. Oh! I also found those Vince Glyn Genuine Shearling Lined Sandals that we’ve all been going nuts over for 60% OFF at Nordstrom Rack! Get em’ while they last! And as always, happy hunting! xo, Jess
Scotti’s Sale Picks
The family drove to Sault Ste Marie yesterday so Zack & I can get our second vaccine shots today 🙌🏼. The kids got to spend some time in the pool (which we had all to ourselves–yay) and then we ordered in and watched a movie. It’s about the closest thing we have to a vacation right now, but I’m so happy that we’re able to be getting our vaccines! It’s like the light at the end of a reaalllly long dark tunnel.

So ready for the weekend because it means we can finally inhabit our house again — ish. Our post snowpocalypse renovations continue and this week the floors were put in. We’ve been sleeping (some better than others) at my mom’s. I’ve been relying on the Tula Skincare Eye Balm Wonderland Set that Amy turned me on to. It feels like your under eyes are having a spa day even if the rest of you is clearly not. The cooling sensation lasts and it is just lovely. Thank you, Amy! Also, this vacation tote that comes in four different sayings (currently on sale) that I’ve been living out of…as well as my dog. Check TME Facebook Page for that gem. Hey-o, Friday. I just woke up early to do this little sales post thinking “ohhh, I’ll have a quiet house to myself” but NO. (Said in the dog with the cute outfits from last year voice, obvs.) The child and the dog have already requested service from me and I juuuust wannnaaa sit here with my hot coffee for a minute. That’s always too much to ask in this household of early risers. I only sleep until 6:30 maybe 7:00 most days, and I’m usually the last one up. It’s exhausting. Maybe I should just go back to bed. Haha.
J/k j/k here we are now, so let’s chat my two top picks…these Perfect Vintage Madewell jeans in a rad gray wash are 40% off! You may remember I have them in a light wash and they were the pair that gave the plot twist at the end of my boyfriend jeans post recently. They’re good. Second fav pick today? It’s tough, but I’ll go with the amazing P448 mid-top sneakers I always rave about. These have a fun gold tongue (a few other colors are on sale, too) and I cannot tell you how cushiony the heel is. They are also the perfect height with all of my ankle length pants & jeans and joggers. Snap them up on sale! Ooh, and if you’re in Portland, do not miss out on She Pours Liquid Catering. Chinny’s Sale Picks
I’m 30 weeks pregnant and officially in that “I can’t fit into much” stage. Perfect opportunity to shop for new pieces in my book 😉 Thankfully the weather is getting nicer here in NYC, flowers are blooming, and it feels very much like spring. My favorite season. Not too warm, not too cold. Nice and mild….perfect opportunity to wear as many print dresses as I can get my hands on.
Looks like most brands had the same thought, because spring sales abound! I’ve picked up a few myself — this lovely Modcloth vibrant print dress, which is 30% off — I’ve worn it several times already. They’re having 30% sale off sale items with countless print pieces that can be mixed and matched beautifully. Case in point, this floral blazer, matching pants and shift dress. They can be worn on their own or in different combos. Or this print in a swing dress, a romper or an off-shoulder top. So many prints, so little time. And if you’re not one to wear tons of prints, I’ve also picked a few vibrant pieces on sale right now.
