I’m sitting in the Phú Quốc airport in Vietnam waiting to board my flight, and what I find so interesting is that the majority of the women here are a size 14 or above. Women from different walks of life, different backgrounds, all living in bigger bodies. I say this to remind you that what we see in the media, of what a woman’s body “should” look like is absolute bullshit. Because babe there’s a whole lotta big beautiful women who are out here traveling the world, and you can too!

Anyways this month’s selection of cool new plus size pieces is inspired by fashion trends I’ve seen in Croatia, Munich and now Vietnam. It’s giving vacation, it’s giving main character energy, it’s giving everything you want in a plus size wardrobe and more.
Let’s get into it!
What’s New In The World of Plus Size Fashion?
It always makes me a little giddy when I find new and interesting collections in plus size and right now I am most excited about several new brand drops.
First up, GIA IRL X Emma Arletta bridal collaboration drops June 10th! It’s giving summer wedding in the south of France and definitely feels like a breath of fresh air when it comes to plus size bridal wear.
And the Adidas ASOS collab drop sold out in like 0.25 seconds and they officially announced a third drop coming soon! You can sign up to be notified here.
Oh, and if you’ve never heard of this brand, you’re welcome!
1 | J.Crew Strapless Mixy Dress
If you are looking for the perfect euro summer dress (or let’s face it – summer in your backyard dress) then look no further than J.Crew’s strapless mixy dress. It’s perfection, and I’ve been wearing it nonstop during my summer sabbatical. It’s lightweight, made of linen and yup, she’s got pockets too! All around a fantastic dress to add to your summer wardrobe. And it also comes in white as well. PS: if you’re a big girl heading into summer, just know you need these! I wear them underneath every single dress and skirt I own.
2 | ELOQUII Crinkle Satin Asymmetric Top + Wide Leg Pants
I don’t know about you, but I love a good matching set. They truly make getting dressed a breeze, and this crinkly satin asymmetric top and matching wide leg pants are exactly what I want to wear this summer. I love how luxe the set feels, and something about that deep sea blue is really doing it for me. So good, and available up to a size 32!
3 | REFORMATION Jillian Silk Dress
When I saw this dress on Reformation’s website a few months ago, I literally gasped! I fell in love with the dress so hard, but was bummed because at the time it was only available in straight sizes. But babes, the plus size gods were on our side, because it’s officially available in plus size! It’s 100% silk, which Ref is so well known for, and the contrasting colorways make the dress so interesting. I’ve honestly never seen a dress like this available in plus and IMO it’s 100% worth the price!
4 | SKIMS Cupro Jersey Asymmetrical Top + Wrap Capri Leggings
This matching Skims asymmetrical top and wrap capri leggings are making waves on social media right now. I’ve seen several of my fav plus size influencers rocking it, and I get why! Say what you want about SKIMS, but they never forget the big girls, and this set ticks all the boxes for trends everyone is loving right now: anything asymmetrical and capri leggings. Honestly a major win for plus size girlie pops.
5 | ELOQUII Pleated Chiffon Dress
I’m really loving that I’m seeing so many more launches of plus size pieces in materials other than jersey right now, especially from OG plus size brands like Eloquii. Chiffon is such a beautiful lightweight material that feels dreamy and breezy, and it’s slightly sheer (hello, flirty). And this chiffon dress is freaking gorgeous. Seriously, no notes from me!
6 | REFORMATION Sol Linen Dress

This linen dress is giving me major business in the front, party in the back vibes and I am OBSESSED with it! I think the backless moment is beyond sexy, and love to see Ref stepping out of their comfort zone with the plus size pieces they released this season! And girl, remember, back rolls are sexy, so wear the damn dress, okay? Okay! ❤️
7 | RIXO Billy Maxi Skirt
RIXO is the new girl on the block when it comes to under-the-radar plus size brands. Their site gives major print-maxing vibes, is full of vibrant colors, and has silhouettes you won’t find anywhere else! So good, and I want everything, including this vibrant floral maxi skirt. Now if they could only shoot their photos with plus size models too, that would be amazing!
8 | Montce Ivy Bandana Bikini
bikini top (curve 2) | bikini bottoms (curve 3)
For a girl who has wayyyy too many bikinis, I sure do keep wearing the same one over and over again. And I think it’s because Montce really understood the assignment when it comes to swim. Their suits are definitely an investment, but IMO it’s one that’s totally worth it.
9 | J.Crew Crochet Sweater Tank
Okay, honest truth? I hate sweaters. But… I do love a sweater tank for summer and for fall too! I love how vibrant this green sweater tank is and think it’s super versatile to style casually and for the office.
10 | Anthropologie Tilda Maxi Skirt
I now own this maxi skirt in 4 different colorways and let me tell you, it is without a doubt my most reached for skirt I own. It fits my ultra curvy body so well and it looks good styled casually, and for date night, too! It comes in satin and in linen and you can’t go wrong with either material.
11 | KAI Koa Denim Barrel Leg Logo Embroidered Jeans

I’ve known about Kai Collective for a while now, but I’ve yet to make a purchase. Until I saw these jeans! Gahhh they are so cool, and I love the embellishing details on the back pockets. These just might be the coolest denim I’ve seen this entire year.
12 | By Anthropologie Leather Hip Belt
My love for belts is at an all-time high right now, and if you ask me, I think Anthropologie does it best! They have an amazing selection of plus size belts and I just love how fun this belt would be to style with dresses and matching sets. I just think accessorizing with a belt makes getting dressed more fun.
Okay, that’s it for now! I hope June is treating you well, and let me know in the comments what you’re wearing this summer.
