Every summer there ends up being one piece that’s on highest rotation.. and I’ve already found mine. (Yes, even though it’s still technically spring.) I have been reaching for these Levi’s white Bermuda shorts without thinking, almost every single day. They blended into my summer wardrobe the second I pulled them out of the box. And that’s my why!!!
8 Summer Outfits With Levi’s White Bermuda Shorts
The length hits right above the knee, the fit is relaxed without being sloppy, and the “white” (that’s definitely more ivory/cream, thankfully) somehow manages to feel fresh rather than high-maintenance? It balances out the utility vibe soooo well. Here is a full Levi’s denim shorts try-on I did a couple weeks ago with even more styles if ya want more.
Fit notes! These run TTS (for Levi’s sizing) and look really cool sized up 1 or 2 sizes – like Shana did here. I initially ordered a 30 (my usual Levi’s size), but returned for a 29 as I wanted it a little bit more snug in the waist to balance out the volume.

There’s something about a flowy, feminine top with a boyish short that I just adore. This pairing feels really cool for summer (and I’ve already worn it…4x hah). Love a bit of style juxtaposition always.
2. White Bermuda Shorts + Oversized Cotton Sweater

Kind of counterintuitive butttt hear me out: an oversized sweater with Bermuda shorts is one of the best summer combinations for anyone who runs cold in air conditioning or is somewhere with cool summer evenings. The proportions are relaxed and really easy, the vibe is very off-duty and it’s genuinely comfortable. Go for a 100% cotton sweater, btw.

The nautical/sporty nod of a striped tee plays reeeally nicely with the white denim. I threw on my current favorite leather sandals and called it a day, happily.

White shorts are the perfect neutral canvas for a print – and a lightweight, floral top is basically summer in clothes form. For some reason, stark white and ivory look really freakin’ cool, so that’s nice for all your white tops. (You’ll see again below.)

This is the (very slightly) elevated version of the shorts-and-sweater formula. A lightweight cashmere sweater brings a softness and polish that makes white Bermuda shorts feel almost dressier than they are? Again, sososo comfortable.

Here’s that other white & ivory pairing I was referencing. Isn’t it oddly great? I love the soft femininity the eyelet/lacey details bring. This is the outfit I’d wear to something that’s not quite casual but not quite dressed up either… with sneakers for walkin’.
7. White Bermuda Shorts + Bikini

Technically the easiest outfit on this list: swimsuit + shorts! (If I dare to call it an outfit, even.) It’s a beach-to-boardwalk formula that works all summer long – throw the shorts on over your bikini, add flip flops and a necklace, and you have an *actual outfit*. A “coverup” with the coolest style.

The boxy tee is one of my favorite shapes for a hot & sticky summer. Tuck it in slightly version to keep the proportions a little balanced or leave it out for a freer look. It’s just so easy.
