Two things about my family: we host a White Elephant party every year and we love all things games! And thus our annual White Elephant holiday party has a little bit of a twist…in order to pick your gift, you have to win at Bingo. It’s by far my favorite holiday tradition, and it always brings out tons of laughter and cheer.
The rules are that each person brings a collection of five mystery gifts to add to the pile, and then Bingo begins. Once you win a round of Bingo you have two options: choose a new gift from the collection of gifts, or snag a gift from one of the other previous winners. It’s fun and chaotic in the best way.
But I digress…
40 Best White Elephant Gifts for 2025 (Funny, Weird & Guaranteed to Get Stolen Twice)
With White Elephant season upon us, I figured it was high time I rounded up a few (well, 20+) finds that are sure to be the life of the party! These gift ideas all evoke that magical White Elephant energy: part useful, part unhinged, and absolutely guaranteed to make at least one cousin say, “Wait…I actually want that.”
Shop These White Elephant Picks
This year’s roundup is equal parts quirky, cute, aesthetically chaotic, and… like… delightfully unnecessary. In other words: perfect. And if you’re hosting your holiday white elephant party, then you 100% need to add this little extra cheeky fun dice to your party essentials.
Let’s dig in.
1 | Little Monster Phone Amplifier
This little ceramic monster is proof that the best gifts are equal parts useful and ridiculous. Just slide your phone into its wide-open mouth, and the hollow shape naturally boosts and projects your music, podcasts, or audiobooks. I love that it looks like it’s mid-scream (or mid-belt during a power ballad), which makes it a guaranteed laugh when it’s unwrapped. It’s the kind of white elephant gift that gets stolen more than once, and it works just as well on a desk, nightstand, or kitchen counter long after the party’s over.
2 | Tinned Goods Sewing Kit
IMO Tin fish girls are the girls that can do it all. They give off that chic boss babe, I can do it myself energy. Which is why this adorable sew tin is perfection for them. I have a feeling this one would be stolen and swapped out several times at your holiday party.
3 | ONO Signet Fidget Magnets
These fidget magnets are an ADHDers dream… well really, they are my dream because as an ADHD girlie pop I can never seem to just sit still. I personally love how aesthetically pleasing they are too and the difference in the textures of each ball is a sensational sensory experience.
4 | California Roll Sushi Candle
There are certainly levels to sushi lovers… There are those who like to go just to feel cool, but they only order the cooked sushi options, there are those that love to try something a little adventurous, and then there are those of us who will travel thousands of miles for the best cut of sashimi. My brother, fiancé and I all happen to be the latter. But TBH it doesn’t matter the level of sushi lover in your life, this sushi candle will 100% be a hit!
5 | The Original Shart Kit
I mean is TBH this shart survival kit is a necessity, because let’s face it, you can never be too prepared when sh*t happens. Not only is this gift a real life saver, it will also have your guests in gut busting laughter because more likely than not, we’ve all found ourselves in an uncomfortable predicament at least once.
6 | Wooden Elephant Stapler
No white elephant list is complete without some kind of gift that is an actual elephant, and this wooden elephant stapler is exactly what I’d hope to see one of my guests bring. Ps. This is the kind of gift that is perfect for someone who works in an office, because it’s a great conversation starter when someone strolls by your desk.
7 | White Ale Man Oil
This man oil is literally and figuratively one of the most practical gifts you can throw into your pile of white elephant gifts. It’s funny, it’s punny, and it’s practical… The ultimate trifecta and sure to be a fan favorite among the guys at your holiday shenanigans.
8 | Jiggies Mini Tree Puzzle
This mini puzzle is the perfect gift for that person who was obsessed with National Lampoons’s Christmas Vacation. You know the scene: Clark takes his family out to cut down a massive, oversized Christmas tree in the woods, only to realize it is far too big for their living room—and barely fits strapped to the roof of their station wagon. At least this tree puzzle will surely fit in anyone’s living room.
9 | Burrito Blanket
There’s always that one person that loves Chipotle a little too much… I can neither confirm nor deny that I was that person in college, because let’s face it Chipotle is a lifestyle. IMO this burrito blanket is the perfect emotional support blanket when they’re missing their beloved burrito.
10 | Chicken Soup For the Soul
Who needs therapy when you have Chicken Soup for the Soul?! IYKYK this book was 100% the preferred choice over therapy in the 90s. All my friends bathrooms had a stack of Chicken Soup for the Soul books and while I am very pro therapy, this can’t hurt too right?!
11 | Spalife In A Pickle Under Eye Mask
In a pinch, I mean pickle, these eye mask patches are sure to brighten your under eyes. I mean at this point, I’m convinced that everything is better for you when it’s been pickled.
12 | Card Deck for the Curios: Iconic Details
You know that one person who always knows the most random facts, who loves trivia, and who prides themselves on knowing niche historical moments? Well this card deck for the curious is exactly what they’d be giddy about receiving… and if they don’t get it… well you better believe they’ll be stealing it for themselves.
13 | Dino Nugget Wall Art
I’m sure plenty of us were chicken nugget–obsessed as kiddos. I happened to be one of the oddballs who would only eat them if my mom peeled off all the breading (LOL, the things kids like). But these dino nuggets bring all the nostalgia, with perfectly golden, crispy-looking breading on a realistic dino-shaped nug. They look so good you could eat them. Please don’t. It’s a playful, unexpected gift that works for the friend with a quirky apartment, or anyone who still orders off the kids’ menu.
14 | Mini Water Color Paper Palette
This is the ideal gift for that person in your life who is prioritizing more analog activities rather than the mindless scroll. It’s pocket size makes it easy to take with you anywhere, so when boredom arises, you can go oh yeah, let me pull out my mini water colors.
15 | Cheese Coaster Set
Calling all cheese lovers (so, basically everyone). This coaster set is the charcuterie board of your dreams, minus the crackers and the calories. Set them out at your next wine night and watch at least one guest reach for a “slice.” It’s a cheeky, crowd-pleasing gift that works for the host who has everything, the friend who considers cheese a personality trait, or anyone who’s ever said “just one more piece” five pieces ago.
16 | Dedcool Poop Drops
For my 30th birthday my grandma gifted me a family size pack of poo-pourri (not as a joke 🤦♀️) and tbh, I was honestly a little bit offended, but I did use it all! While I don’t recommend giving poo-pourri as a birthday gift, these oh-so-chic poop drops make for the perfect white elephant gift. I have these in my bathroom and they are the most aesthetic poo drops you’ll ever buy and they smell so good too.
17 | Quarter Life Crisis Anecdote Candle
Quarter-Life Crisis “smells like all panic and no disco” 😂 and honestly, it’s truly accurate for how most of us are feeling, quarter-life or not! The scent notes of this Anecdote candle are bright grapefruit and mint, so at least your existential dread will smell fresh and uplifting. Light it while you’re doom-scrolling job listings, rethinking every life choice, or just surviving a Monday. It’s a funny, thoughtful gift that works for the friend who just turned 25, the one who’s “fine, totally fine,” or anyone who could use a little humor (and a lot of grapefruit) to get through it.
18 | East End Press Paper Crowns
These celebration crowns would absolutely hold their own in a white elephant swap, but I think they’re even more fun as a pre-party favor. Hand them out as guests walk in and suddenly your gift exchange has a theme: royal court, with everyone fighting over the “throne-worthy” gifts. The set of six is hand-printed on recycled paper, so each crown has its own bright pattern. Because nothing says white elephant extravaganza quite like a room full of grown adults in paper crowns, plotting to steal the cheese coasters.
19 | Dehydrated Water Bottle
We all know that one person in the office who’s constantly complaining about being dehydrated, lugging around a 40-ounce emotional support water bottle, and lecturing everyone about microplastics in their tap water. This can of dehydrated water is for them. It’s 100% organic, BPA-free, low-sodium, and (according to the label) magical. Just add water! The packaging commits to the bit so hard that it’ll take a second for people to get the joke, which is half the fun. It’s a hilarious gag gift for the hydration-obsessed coworker, the wellness-trend skeptic, or anyone who’s ever said “I just need to drink more water” with a straight face.
20 | Garden of Earthly Delights Playing Cards
Game night just got a whole lot weirder (in the best way). This deck of playing cards features Hieronymus Bosch’s “The Garden of Earthly Delights,” the famously bizarre 500-year-old painting packed with giant birds, oversized fruit, strange creatures, and scenes from paradise to hell. The card backs show the dreamy, chaotic garden, while the faces pull in some of the painting’s most delightfully unhinged details, like a bird-headed creature perched on a throne. It’s a clever, conversation-starting gift for the art history nerd, the friend who loves anything a little dark and quirky, or anyone who wants their poker night to come with a side of medieval fever dream.
21 | Daily Dose of Weird Wildlife Plate
Snack time just got a lot more educational. This Daily Dose of Weird Wildlife plate is covered in illustrations of the animal kingdom’s oddballs, like the Wallace’s flying frog, plus a QR code on the rim that gives you a new weird animal fact every day. It’s a quirky, surprisingly delightful gift for the trivia lover, the animal-obsessed friend, or anyone who needs something more interesting than their phone to look at during lunch (even if they do technically need their phone to use it 😂).
22 | Rhode Lip Case
I mean who doesn’t doesn’t love Hailey Bieber’s iconic beauty company: Rhode?! And seriously her iconic phone case nearly broke the internet, so it’s sure to cause an uproar at your white elephant party. A gift that is practical and gives all the cool girl energy… always a win.
23 | Wine Condoms
Yes, the name is outrageous, but the product is shockingly useful. Wine condoms seal an open bottle airtight, making them a fantastic backup when the cork inevitably breaks or disappears into the void. They slip easily into the fridge without that awkward “too tall bottle that hits the shelf” issue, and they always get the biggest first laugh at any gift exchange. Practicality disguised as chaos is the ideal White Elephant vibe.
24 | Date Night Dice
This set of dice gives couples a fun way to break out of the “What do you want to do tonight?” loop. Roll them and boom, you’ve got an instant itinerary ranging from sweet to spicy. They’re small, cute, playful, and helpful whether you’ve been together a month or ten years. It’s flirty without being inappropriate, making it a safe-but-fun office party pick.
25 | Speks Crags Ferrite Putty
The adult version of slime, but elevated, magnetic, and deeply satisfying. This putty lets you stretch, sculpt, and shape for some low-key desk therapy. It’s part fidget toy, part art medium, and part “What is this and why can’t I stop touching it?” Excellent for coworkers, creatives, or anyone who needs a distraction during endless Zoom calls.
26 | Martha & Snoop Fridge Magnets
Two things I love: 1. Martha Stewart and Snoop’s iconic friendship and 2. anything that gives the vibe of an early 2000s J.C.Penny family photoshoot. And these magnets fulfill both of those loves! They are perfect for the friend who loves pop culture references but also prefers their humor a little more…cultured.
27 | Hot Sauce Key Chain
This hot sauce key chain is 100% for the person who would willingly bring a full size sriracha bottle with them in their bag. And if your wondering, I have become that person by proxy, becuase my boyfriend often requests (more like requires) me to bring a full size sriracha bottle to any new restaurant we try.
28 | Labubu
I recently went to a favorite things holiday party and the first gifts to be taken were the mystery box labubus. And yes, it was the very first gift I selected. These cute little monsters give me all the nostalgic furby vibes and are 100% sure to be stollen many times!
29 | Bananagrams
Bananagrams is my favorite game of all time, and TBH it almost always induces a fight in my family because in the words of my brother “you’re too smart to play this game.” I can’t help it I love words haha, and I also can’t help it that I am a winner at all things 😂 It’s a fast-paced, modular word game that brings out everyone’s competitive spirit without the existential dread of Scrabble.
30 | Andy Warhol Crayons
A little bit of childhood joy mixed with art history flair. These crayons channel Andy Warhol’s iconic pop-art aesthetic, making them fun for kids and aesthetically pleasing enough for adults to keep on their desk. Perfect for stress coloring (highly recommended) or for anyone who still low-key loves school supplies. They’re vibrant, nostalgic, and surprisingly chic.
31 | Twist & Solve Dodecahedron Puzzle
Like a Rubik’s Cube…but harder, prettier, and way more satisfying to fiddle with. This puzzle is great for problem-solvers, fidgeters, and people who love a mental challenge. It looks cool sitting on a shelf and feels oddly relaxing to twist around. There’s always one “puzzle person” at every white elephant party and this is for them.
32 | Not My Job Rubber Stamps
I am sure there’s at least one person who will over use these in the office. But honestly, I would too! Who doesn’t love a little office humor, am I right? These rubber stamps have a slew of funny slogans that every one who works in corporate can relate to 😂
33 | People of Walmart Coloring Book
A white elephant icon. This coloring book is exactly the right level of irreverent and will have everyone flipping through the pages during the gift exchange. It’s silly, nostalgic, and surprisingly therapeutic. Bring it once and someone will ask you to bring it again next year.
34 | Scratch-The-Belly Animal Nail Files
These scratch-the-belly animal nail files are exactly as chaotic and hilarious as they sound. Useful enough to keep in your purse or desk, funny enough to spark conversation instantly. A great “small but mighty” white elephant choice, especially for all the animal lovers in your life.
35 | Mini Highland Cows Desk Herd
You wouldn’t believe the amount of mini cow videos my friends and I send to each other weekly. I’m convinced I need a mini cow as a pet, and since I’m sure I won’t be getting one any time soon, I’ll settle for this cute mini cow desk herd. They’re absurdly adorable, and bring a tiny hit of joy to any workspace.
36 | Homesick White Elephant Candle
I already snuck one elephant into this year’s roundup, so why not make it two? Enter the White Elephant scented candle. Meta humor at its finest. It’s giftable, neutral enough for any home, and a great option when you want something that feels thoughtful without trying too hard.
37 | The Gospel According to Gen Z
Bible stories told through the eyes of Gen Z?! Sign me up, because it honestly feels like the most digestible way I could read the Bible. This book is the kind of gift people flip through and immediately start reading aloud. Perfect for Gen Zers, millennials who want to understand them, or anyone who loves culturally satirical books. Big laughs guaranteed.
38 | Cherry Blossom LEGOS Set
A beautiful, almost meditative build for anyone who loves cherry blossoms or just wants a pretty, LEGO set. The finished piece looks like a small piece of decor, not a toy, and adds a pop of color to a desk or shelf. It’s soothing, creative, and guaranteed to be stolen in the second round of your white elephant exchange.
39 | Spreadsheet Mug
For the Excel-lover in your life, and if you work in an office, you know exactly who I’m talking about. This mug is funny without being cheesy and useful without being boring. Perfect for coworkers, accountants, data nerds, and anyone who loves a solid pivot table joke.
40 | Cold Beer Coats
Your drink deserves to stay cozy too. These tiny puffer jackets for cans are absurd in the best way, and they keep drinks cold while looking unbelievably cute. Great for tailgates, game nights, or anyone whose personality is “fun uncle.” Expect at least two people to fight over this one.
And that’s a wrap on this year’s White Elephant round-up: the cute, the chaotic, the mildly ridiculous, and the surprisingly useful. Whether you’re trying to win the night, start the biggest laugh, or bring something people will actually steal, there’s truly something here for every crowd. May your gift be opened early, fought over twice, and go home with someone who appreciates your excellent taste in nonsense.
