Happy Friday! The mornings are chillier, the sun is setting earlier, and it’s time for all things comfy-cozy. Amy’s shirt jacket (under $100 at Backcountry) is both cute + practical for layering — it runs oversized but in the perfect comfy “day-off” sort of way. Oooh, the sherpa version is on sale too!

Our Editors’ Top Picks On Sale At Madewell, Athleta, Anthro, Naadam + More

While we’re on the topic of all things cozy, treat yourself to luxe cashmere for 25% off at Naadam with code FRIENDS25. Laura scooped up this striped shirt with coastal-chic vibes, and Scotti’s eyeing up this boatneck sweater (check out that nearly-off-the-shoulder fit!).

Anyone else swooning over this season’s fall boots? My Pinterest feed is full of these tall chunky boots paired with leggings (20% off at Athleta, discount in checkout) and puffer jackets or oversized blazers.

Laura’s Sale Picks

Hey, hey, Friday! Things are hopeful here as the rains are coming TODAY. After a week of the worst air quality in the…world, yup, we are so ready for the rain. Enough about sad, horrible air and weather though (it’s all we’ve talked about all week)…

My friend Posy and I are going to a soft opening of a fab new wine bar tonight, Heavenly Creatures, thanks to our friends and owners of St. Jack (to which you also need to go and get the mussels or burger…or everything, trust me.) Tomorrow I’m heading out to White Salmon, WA, in my favorite spot the Columbia River Gorge too. This wanderlust foodie couldn’t image a better weekend.

Shoes I’m Loving RN: I’m always all about the shoes. This cute French-vibes pair of kitten heels in the Wine color (see them on our IG here), and this amazing pair of New Balance are my new favs. These were a close second.

Finally Joined The Stanley Cup Crew: I GET THE HYPE over the Stanley Adventure Quencher cup now, and they’re back in stock in a bunch of colors. I just got my 40-ounce tumbler in yesterday, and I’m already obsessed. I got the Lilac, and it’s GORGEOUS. These are the things I’m overly excited about these days as a 44-year-old, LOL. I’ve been a Yeti fan for years, but it’s nice to have two options now while one is in the dishwasher.

What I Bought From Athleta’s Sale: I could not be more excited to get these pieces in, friends. I got the Rainier Bootcut Pants (MP), the Summit Down Shine puffer jacket (it’s water-resistant!) and the Flurry Seamless Henley (go check out that blue). See all our top picks in our post from yesterday.

The Softest Jacket I Wear All The Time: The incredibly soft + comfy BlankNYC jacket that’s perfect for this time of year is still on sale at Amazon. Looks like stock is getting low, but you won’t be disappointed with this purchase! It’s like wearing a fitted quilt that has been washed a million times! TTS.

Also Have A Spicy Tween? Moms of strong-willed children unite… If you need some gift ideas for your saucy kiddo who you love to the moon and back, I got ya covered here. We better give in to a few things they want, eh? These kids are gonna change the world someday.

Sales are great this weekend, friends. Here are some more things I either ordered or am eyeing up… Have a good one! xoxo

Scotti’s Sale Picks

You guys. We had our first snow day of the year this past week. And while the kids were loving their time playing in the snow, all I was thinking was, “It’s too soon!! Where did summer go??” I’m literally never ready when winter first gets here. I’m still dying to wear my new favorite sandals… Luckily, the snow has now melted. But since all the stores already have all of their Christmas decor up, it’s only a matter of time. Looks like I might need to bust out those sandals this weekend…

Most-Worn Cold-weather Pants — 3 Years Running: Athleta’s Altitude tights and pants have been my go-to bottoms for layering and lounging every winter for…a few years. They’re soft, warm, comfy and 20% off right now (along with everything else sitewide…check out our favorite picks here) during Athleta’s sale!

A Little Bit Alexis: Or, whatever your initials may be, Anthro’s EXTRA 40% off sale means this monogram pendant necklace is under $15…which means it would make the perfect gift for a friend! (They have a TON of good stuff included in this sale!)

CASHMERE At 25% Off: Naadam’s cashmere is incredibly soft and comfy, and I can’t decide if I want this dress, this boatneck sweater or this cold-shoulder sweater. LOVE. (Use code FRIENDS25 for 25% off!)

Here are more of my top picks this weekend… Apparently I’m really into coats and shoes right now! 😂😍

Kat’s Sale Picks

I’ve been in full fall mode the past few weeks, and I’m excited for the weekend because I’m headed to an adults-only Halloween party! TBH, I think this is my first real Halloween party since college, and I have to say, I’m quite excited! I’m also super-stoked because I’m going to be starting a podcast!!! This has been a dream of mine for a very long time, and I can’t wait to share more soon. It will be coming to you in January 2023! Cheers to the weekend, y’all! XX – Kat

A Little Glitz, A Little Glam: I don’t know about you all, but I have a serious crush on all things glitzy right now. Gimme all the sparkly, sequin tops & skirts for the holiday season! This one is gorgeous and can easily be styled for any holiday occasion! And P.S. It’s currently on super-sale!

Things I Bought This Week: I admittedly bought a LOT of things this week. At the top of my recent purchases are these bad boys… They are some of the coolest boots I’ve found this season, and while, yes, they are a pretty penny, I’m beyond excited for them to arrive later today! I also had been eyeing this silk dress and finally decided I needed to try it IRL. I will report back on these new purchases next week!

I’m Not Really A Cardigan Girl, But… Madewell might’ve just convinced me to be one! This shawl cardigan looks so incredibly cozy, and it’s on sale! Plus, if you use the code GOSPREE you can get up to an additional 30% off depending on how much you spend.

Amy’s Sale Picks

Happy Weekend! We’re finally starting to feel a little more settled in our new space, and the hubs and I have even begun our Harry Potter re-watch like we do every spooky season. We may have worn swimsuits and shorts this week more than anything else, but I’m starting to feel festive! If you’re worried about my little Midwesterner soul, don’t be, because a cold front is blowing in…with…high 60s… So I’ll feel right at home (insert my best Sanderson sisters laugh here because I truly feel like I’ve gotten away with the most magical of spells living here)! Xx

One Of My Faves: A truly epic pair of jeans that I have + love is on sale. I even did a full review over on this post.

‘Tis The Season For…Shorts? AGOLDE shorts (a TME fave) are hitting the sale section, so while you might not get a lot of immediate wear out of them, 50% off makes it too good to not scoop up for next year.

My Kind Of Basic: I love the look of a simple henley but have only seen skintight styles, until this slightly looser waffle-knit henley graced my computer screen. And it’s available in so many colors (how have I not ordered this yet!? Use code TREAT at checkout).

Bestseller: Not on sale, but you guys loved these Ganni boot dupes just as much as me — they’re hard to pass up for under $50!

My Top Pick: If you’re shopping Athleta’s big weekend sale, check out my latest blog for three holiday outfit ideas with my top picks (they’re really good, if I do say so myself)!

Em’s Sale Picks

Hey, pals, happy Friday. We’ve been home with a sick kiddo for the better part of a week, which has made for a bit of a cranky-mama situation (Lana has been a doll, even under the weather, but when my productivity tanks, I get crabby — fast). Trying to turn things around with pumpkin-spice muffins this morning. When in doubt, stuff my face. I think that’s how the saying goes?

After-hours, Chris and I binged “The Watcher,” which was delightfully creepy. I’m not at all into horror, but I’m game for a little thriller action every now and then. Bonus creepy points for it being based on a true story. Whoa.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! My sale picks, below. – Em

Most Tempting Find This Week Award Goes Tothis Oversized Car Coat. I think I’ve mentioned that this is the one piece my wardrobe is missing, and the Glen Plaid pattern might be too perfect to pass up. It’d also be the perfect overcoat to complement the return-to-office capsule wardrobe I put together this week. Basically everything I’d want to wear if S made us all move to Philly and desk up everyday.

This Playful Sweater! You know I love a neutral through and through, but I couldn’t resist picking up this fair isle sweater this week for an injection of color. Plus, I’ve been super-intrigued to try Gap’s CashSoft line. Will report back!

Currently In My Cart: We’re all swooning over Anthro’s additional 40% off sale section at the moment, and I’m most intrigued by this sleeveless puffer and these pants. Final sale, so the forgiving fit of the puffer feels like a safe move.

Julieta’s Sale Picks

Hola! How’s your week going? Here, it’s been a mix of everything. My son got sick, we had to run to urgent care, and my allergies are ANNOYING af, but I called my abuelita yesterday and had the most amazing color clients, so all is good. Did you see my latest post about color theory, brown and monochrome outfits? One of my favorite posts so far.

Most-Worn This Week: I’m obsessed with these Phoenix sweatpants. I need a second pair ’cause this one has been my lifesaver this week.

But, Also, These Jeans are hands-down my most comfortable jeans, and I love wearing them to work from home with a pretty top for my color consults.

A Trench Coat In A Color I Can Wear: The regular khaki or light-camel trench coats are very draining on my complexion. But Athleta’s Stellar Trench in Ancient Mahogamy is precisely what many other warm-tone people and I need.
