Hellooo, Friday! Remember that time Kat and Shana totally twinned in Athleta’s super-soft sherpa jacket? If you need a cozy layer to throw on for everything from morning coffee runs to the office to school functions, this one can’t be beat (especially when it’s on sale for $50). It’s oh-so-warm and feels like being wrapped in a blanket…take that, winter blues.

Hey, hey, Friday! I’m writing to you from one of my favorite places on Earth, the Columbia River Gorge. My friend and I are out here for a couple of nights for my birthday at a little boutique hotel with Scandinavian-style cabins and a tiny spa…it’s heaven.
We had a yummy dinner in White Salmon, WA, last night and then some “hot tub, sauna and cold plunge” time. Dang. If that doesn’t get the blood flowing at 45 years old. I’m a sauna girl, but I typically do just the cold shower… The cold plunge takes it to a whole other level. I can’t wait for our repeat this afternoon!
But first, here are a few things I’m eyeing up right now for early spring shall we say (forget groundhog Phil, I’m diving in whenever I dang well please, thank you.) I want to try out this set from Mango, this sweater (that collar!) and this knit button-down from Faherty.

ONE: This Gap oversized striped button-down is my new fave, and it’s on sale for $62 + 10-20% off with code ADDON. It has buttons up the back too, for some added pizazz. Would make a super-cute cover-up as well. Wearing a S.
TWO: I FINALLY got this knit moto jacket from Free People in this week, and it’s FABULOUS and on sale for under $100. Soft, rad, oversized. It’s got everything. TTS for an oversized fit. On sale here too.

Happy Friday! I’m in Chicago this weekend and will be doing ALL of the in-store shopping! I may have already started… These boots were just irresistible — ridiculous but irresistible. (They look amazing on.)
I also wanted to tell you guys about a new concealer from Urban Decay (one of my favorite go-to brands ) that I absolutely LOVE. It’s quickly selling out at Sephora (it has about half of the 24 shades left) and Ulta, but as of now Kohl’s actually has most shades in stock! It’s hydrating and long-lasting and so, so good.
I’ll report back with any amazing finds this weekend! Oh and happy early Valentine’s Day, everyone!

ONE: These gold pants from Gap (that I had to have the SECOND I saw them online) are just as good as I thought they’d be. They have the exact same vintage-slim fit of those faux-leather pants I love — but in GOLD. 🤗😍 (P.S. Those faux leather pants are on sale too!)
TWO: Two of my all-time favorite (use them every single day) skincare products are on sale at Colleen Rothschild. The Sheer Renewal Cream is my go-to moisturizer (because it doesn’t leave a greasy residue and is amazing under makeup), and I apply the Retinol Supreme Eye Serum every night before bed. I’ve been using them for YEARS because they work!
THREE: Zella’s cozy wrap jacket is 40% off! This is such a cozy layering piece. I love the asymmetrical zip, the collar, and the fact that it has POCKETS!

Happy, happy Friday, beautiful people! It’s hard to believe we’re already midway through February — time is just flying by. If you keep up with me on IG, then you know I’ve spent the past several months with my family in Nashville and have truly had the best time ever. Last night my mom and I fulfilled a lifelong dream and watched “Dancing with the Stars Live”! The dancing, the music, the Grand Ole Opry — it was an absolutely incredible night and such an amazing experience with my mom.
Tomorrow morning, I’m heading back to Colorado, and while I’m pretty bummed to be leaving, I’m looking forward to sleeping in my own bed and getting back into my CO life. Sending you all so much love and light this weekend! XX

ONE: I used to hate cotton PJs — until Printfresh updated its sizing! I’ve been sleeping in the TME Valentine’s pajamas on repeat, and I absolutely love their look and feel. While the TME V-Day pjs aren’t on sale, IMO they are 100% worth it!
TWO: I have been wearing the heck out of these Elation flare pants. I’ve worn them to business meetings, out to brunch and to work out in… I can’t recommend them enough, and right now the gorgeous mint color is only $29!

Heelllooo from the magical West Coast, where we’re having a spark of hot weather (79 degrees yesterday), and the birds won’t stop singing about it *insert happy tears here*. Putting on shorts in February is wild…and I styled a pair with my favorite Farm Rio crochet cardigan I purchased last year, which has proven to be such a happy dopamine piece time and time again (it’s no longer available, but check out this similar *artisan-made* hand-crocheted poncho — I’m drooling).
I spent all last year searching for non-distressed jean shorts and found ONE pair. Now, already with early spring releases slowly trickling out in stores, I’m seeing more options pop up and am so excited — Gap has a really good looking mid-rise pair that’s currently marked down! And while we’re on the subject of Gap, I can’t help but notice so many of its models are wearing these jeans, and they look freaking amazing…do I dare try them?!

ONE: The more I wear these jeans, the more I love them. Currently under $50, they have a mostly rigid quality (1% stretch) that makes them feel like beloved vintage jeans, and with each wear, they conform to my body for a really great lived-in quality. I love my true size, but went up from my normal “long” inseam to a “tall” to get a bit more length.
TWO: Throwin’ it back to when I was pregnant because I found a fave oversized sweater on sale. It’s truly oversized in the best of ways, and was beyond epic for pregnancy + postpartum outfits (& I still love it). Don’t hesitate to size down!

Hola!!! So, we’re “watching” the Super Bowl with our group of Colombian friends on Sunday. We’re about 40+ people together, including a bunch of kids. The way it will go is the men will try to sit and “understand” the game (these guys breathe soccer but like to pretend they know about football), the women will talk for hours in the kitchen, and kids will destroy our friends’ place. We’ll all gather by the TV when the halftime show starts, then we’ll probably go home because it’s a Sunday. Otherwise we’d start dancing until past midnight while having some aguardiente. Anybody only in it for the commercials and show?
Gang! I’m in a sweatshirt search, and three just got here. So far my top pick is this one.

ONE: Alo Airlift Leggings – On sale in select colors but these are some of my favorite leggings. They’re perfect for Pilates, so I’m sure they will be for yoga or barre too.
TWO: MOTHER Super Cruiser (lighter wash) – I’ve been wearing these flares on repeat since last spring. Right now I’m wearing them with cashmere sweaters, or sweatshirts and platform sneakers. You can watch the full review here.

Happy weekend, friends! Big news around here is that no one is sick this week. The little things! Oh, and we booked a trip to Palm Springs and Big Bear for later in the month. I’ve never been to Big Bear (Tahoe girl, through and through), and Chris hasn’t been in a long time, so we’re excited to check out the town, get the kiddo into a lesson…and attempt to figure out how to make time for both of the adults to get onto the mountain with a squirmy babe in tow. If you have recs for Big Bear, would love to hear them! Dank Donuts keeps coming up in my research, and the menu sounds, well, appropriately named. So stoked.
Other things I’ve been excited about lately: doodle weaving! Inspired by this project, we got the four second-grade classes at Lana’s school to collaborate on two weaving projects to sell at the school’s fundraiser auction, and they’re turning out so rad. Definitely wanting to get into weaving, myself, now. (This is the loom I’m looking to buy.) Fiber art is so cool.
And somewhat related, we picked up this blanket for one of the auction gift baskets too, and it’s so plush and chunky and cozy and a real statement piece that looks far more expensive — but most impressive of all: It doesn’t shed. Seriously contemplating keeping it for myself. Have a good one, pals! Xo, Em

ONE: One of my favorite pairs of black jeans are just $43 at Nordstrom right now. They’re slim but not skinny and, as such, easy to style up loads of ways without overthinking things. Wearing my true size.
TWO: I know it’s not particularly exciting, but my most-worn cardigan of the past year was restocked, and it’s on extra-sale again — this time for $31 if you use code MORE. Great weight, 100% cotton, washes easily. Easy to half-tuck, if that’s your jam. Runs oversized. (Oh, and these high-rise, buttery leggings and matching top are also on sale! Love both. Ohhh, there are shorts too!)

Well, we made it through the week, and I’m pretty pumped for the weekend. Is anyone else actually excited for the Super Bowl?? I know the TME Philly gang probably all are, and so am I. I’ll definitely be cheering on the Eagles, just to support all my Philly peeps. But really I just love spending the day with family and friends surrounded by too much amazing food.
We also have Valentine’s Day sneaking up next week. Does anyone have anything amazing planned? Jon and I will be checking out MeXo, Downtown Grand Rapids’ new tequila & mezcal bar. I’ve been so excited to check them out that I made our V-Day reservation a month ago.
Speaking of the Super Bowl, Sh*t that I Knit has the cutest NFL beanies EVER, and they’re all on sale right now for 30% off. Plus, you can add my code JESS25 for 25% off non-sale items.

ONE: My favorite Palladium Revolt sneakers are on sale at Zappos right now in olive and black, and they are so good that I’m thinking of getting them in a second color too!
TWO: This striped oversized turtleneck knit from Topshop has been a staple in my wardrobe since fall — I love the style and fit! It’s on sale at Nordstrom right now, and there are four other great color options on sale too. My wide-leg faux-leather pants are from Commando, in case you’re interested (not on sale).
