Hey hey, Friday! Sales are slowly but surely starting to ramp up for Memorial Day! Backcountry is kicking us off with up to 50% off summer styles, now through 5/30. Scotti scooped up this Free People sweatshirt (35% off) with a playful open back that looks so cute over bralettes or a swimsuit as a coverup. It’s 100% cotton, so it’s breathable and great for warmer weather.

Sexy Dresses, Cute Denim Shorts + Pretty Tanks & Tops: Editor Sale Picks From Saks, Madewell, Anthro & More

There’s a little heat wave here in Philly, and a breezy tank with comfy denim shorts and some slide sandals is all I want to wear — it’s just easy and chic. Linzi found this drool-worthy silk Theory tank (40% off) and I’m in love with the strap details. Speaking of breezy, Kat found the pajama set of my dreams: it’s giving a hint of girl-next-door vibes, meets effortless and airy.

Lots more below! Happy sale shopping, everyone.

Linzi’s Sale Picks

I’ve been sick this week. Boo. I’ve been living in these oh-so-comfy pants, so in looking at the sales this week, I’m very drawn to all the cute shirts that I could pair with these pants, so I never ever EVER have to take them off. My husband, unfortunately, is likely going to take them for recycling the first time he catches them off my body. It’s gotten bad. But there ARE a ton of cute tops on sale to wear with these pants, and he probably doesn’t even know how to recycle clothing, so I might be safe.

A few non-sale announcements:

And now for sales:

Scotti’s Sale Picks

This was a good week! It started with getting baptized in the ocean on Sunday (I was baptized as a baby, but when the opportunity to do it here arose, I jumped on it) and then we went to see Leon Bridges on Tuesday night. It was so nice to be out at a concert again —  it’s definitely been awhile. I wore this insanely comfy Z Supply dress (now on sale for under $50) and it was perfect. It’s been hot here, so we’ve been taking the kids to the pool after school…I can definitely get used to that after-school tradition!

Happy weekend, everyone!

  • Save BIG on my Go-To Retinol: I use Colleen Rothschild’s Retinol Supreme Night Oil and Eye Serum almost every single night–and they make a difference! This weekend they’re both on sale…save $40 on the pair!
  • Favorite Huggie Earrings: These delicate little hoops that are perfect for multiple piercings and super comfortable to wear are 25% off this weekend (along with everything else site-wide at Madewell)!
  • Those Reviews, though: This Bala 10 lb “Power Ring” looks like the perfect addition to any home gym…and the pretty pink color is over 50% off! (Just bought this one myself!)

Amy’s Sale Picks

I have always organized my closet by the type of item (band tees, sweatshirts, fancy sweaters, etc.,) but since I’ve been embracing a lot more pinks and greens and fun tones in my wardrobe, I decided to switch things up this week and re-organize the whole thing by color. And, uh, it’s kind of life changing. I ended up rediscovering this set in my closet, and while not on sale, it’s under $100 and perfect for spring and summer.

For the things that are on sale…

  • Attention Disney Lovers: I stumbled upon these Mickey Mouse mugs that are almost chic and I’m just trying to figure out how many to order.
  • Top Seller: You’re all loving this top just as much as me; I’m wearing on repeat and am so tempted to grab a second color.
  • Epic Shorts Score: I’m surprised these are still in stock! They’re an amazing wash w/ an on-trend longer inseam. Just add a fave tee & sneakers!

Even more to love below! – Xx

Laura’s Sale Picks

Hey, hey Friday! Well…I officially have a 9-year-old today. Whew. What? That “the days are long, years are short” saying is so legit, right? I have to figure out how to pull off this ice cream cake tonight for her party tomorrow, so wish me luck (how cute and seemingly simple though right?)

Sales this week…apparently I’m into dresses! Haha. That’s funny because I’m typically not that much, but it must be getting close to summer (aka my only dress season). There are some GORGEOUS ones on sale right now…but also a few other fun things, too…

How Is This Still In Stock? This gorgeous chunky chain $225 necklace marked down to $47 is somehow still available. This style finishes off even the most basic of t-shirts for a really great look. I have a very similar necklace that is my most-worn piece right now.

I Don’t Leave Home Without This… Aging + working out (or honestly just getting up in the morning) means knots in my neck and body, apparently. This little $10 guy is my new fav thing for working those out AND it’s small enough to travel with. OH and apparently that’s the price for two! One for home + one for the suitcase. More of my fav recent Amazon finds are in this latest post.

Do I Finally Need A Shacket? …but make it soft and under $30 please. This one at Nordstrom looks amazing and comfy and lighter weight for these coming months. LOVE. I’ll pop it on over cutoffs or my new Boden swimsuit (deets here.)

Happy Friday, y’all! If I am being totally honest, I am so excited to do absolutely nothing this weekend! Last weekend’s epic Vegas girls’ trip was seriously one for the books! I cannot express how much fun I had, but with delayed flights and so many travel glitches, I am so happy to be hunkering down at home. Especially since it’s freaking snowing right now as I write this… Yes, it’s almost June and it’s snowing here in CO!

Okay, but this is actually so good: I can’t tell you all the last time I found a wrap skirt that I actually loved. Wrap skirts and dresses don’t typically work for my ultra-curvy peaches, but this under-$100 Free People wrap skirt is absolute perfection. I bought it in black and purple and am pretty certain I will be keeping both. For size reference I bought it in an XL.

All the cool kids are wearing these: For the past year I have seen countless influencers raving over their love of these specific crocs. Not only are they rocking them daily, they are blinging them out with custom croc jibbitz to match their mood for the day.

Okay, peep a few more sales below!

Julieta’s Sale Picks

Last week I did Linzi’s color analysis, and guess what? We both have the same color rainbow, with a few subtle differences that vary with skin tone and eye color. Then yesterday, it was a faithful IG follower/friend’s turn. She’s of Indian descent, and I was ecstatic to see she also had the same colors. Again subtle differences, but it’s always amazing to see different women having a color palette in common.

If you want to get your colors done soon, get your slot here. I’m closing doors for July and perhaps August, but no worries, I’ll be back in September.

The best under-$20 top I’ve ever tried – I got this top in the mail yesterday and I’m amazed at the fabric, colors and fit. Two other colors are now in my cart.

Wow, I’m obsessed with Ulla Johnson – It was this top and skirt that caught my eye first, now I want it all, including these fun pants. Also, 40% is a really good deal.

4” shorts that look cool – Almost 5 stars and 30% off? Okay, okay, I’ll give these shorts a try.

Em’s Sale Picks

Another week down! The past few days have been so trying over here. Chris’ cold that we were hoping wasn’t COVID was, in fact, COVID, and since we’re being extra cautious around baby, he’s officially been isolated in the guest room for over a week. Which means a whole week that he’s missed out on hanging with the girls – and a whole week that I’ve been solo handling…well, everything. (We’ve been holding off on inviting family to help so as not to expose them, despite our best attempts.) Fortunately, our friends have been so helpful, dropping off test kits and groceries and calling in take-out orders while I (literally) have my hands full. In fact, I’m eating leftover chow fun for breakfast while Elle naps, and I’m going to call that a big ol’ Friday victory.

Here’s where my head is at with sales this week:

You all can’t get enough of these wide-leg jeans. And, honestly, neither can I. They’re down to $30 at the moment, still really well stocked (inclusive sizing!) and are the comfiest, coolest jeans I can imagine for the rest of spring/summer. I’m usually a 0-2 and wear the 2. They start out true mid-rise, and after a day or two of wear they stretch out a little bit to more of a low-rise, but nothing obscene. Just a really solid wide-leg situation that manages to feel both nostalgic and current. I even got a few compliments at the park this week.

Everlane’s sale section is worth a gander. There’s so much to choose from, but my top pick is this 100% silk cami that would be so chic layered under a slouchy cardigan (and would be easy to pair with a comfy bandeau bra – or even no bra) and these utility boots, which feel like my beloved classic Palladium boots, now just $46.

A pair of shoes I’m swooning over. OK, technically a pair of pairs: first) these flat metallic sandals, which look almost too good to be true – chic, comfortable, flattering, super-versatile, and reviews say they actually stay on your feet! I’d wear them with everything from drapey joggers and my all-time favorite linen pants to summer dresses and even those wide-leg jeans up there. The low-profile would make them super packing-friendly, too; and second) these curry yellow court shoes. Such a fun, unexpected color in a style I know would get loads of wear.

Bonus time. Biossance’s Squalane + Omega Repair Cream is – I’m just going to say it – the best moisturizer I’ve ever used. It makes my skin feel ultra-hydrated and plumped without ever feeling greasy, and right now, the full size comes with a mini spatula (totally unnecessary but v cute) and, more importantly, minis of both the Rose Oil and the Lactic Acid Serum. Plus, if you sign up for texts, you get $20 off your purchase, and shipping is always free.

Ok, that’s more than enough from me this week. More sale faves below! Xo, Em

Jess’ Sale Picks

This week was fun. We dog-sat my Mother in Love’s sweet but super-crazy puppy, Izzie. She drove both Jon and my 15-year-old dachshund NUTS all week long. But I thrive in chaos so I had a blast, of course. And since we don’t have kids yet, my dog Henri is my life. If it were up to me, I’d have a whole pack of dogs running around the house and live happily in chaotic contentment.
