Hey, hey, Friday! We’re camping this weekend in the beautiful San Juan Islands! If you’ve never visited them, you must. They’re off the coast of Washington (Orcas Island is probably the favorite) and are incredibly beautiful. My husband’s parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this month, so the whole fam (20 people to be exact) are joining them in this lovely place.

TWO: I’m forever a Tevas girl, and these colorful sandals are on sale right now at Amazon! Thought this pic of me and my sweet Camper pup…camping…from two summers ago was appropriate! I love the Velcro Tevas because they’re adjustable not only at the ankle but also across the toe box for a totally customizable fit. And they’re way cuter than most sport sandals, IMO.

Happy Friday, everyone! I’m in Chicago for the weekend and heading to a Morgan Wallen concert tonight at Wrigley. SO excited. I have a love-hate relationship with country music…as in I kind of hate that I love it. Happy first official weekend of SUMMER, beautiful people! While I could get slightly depressed as every brand seems to be throwing their bathing suits into the sale sections (one retailer even has the audacity to call it an “end-of-season sale”), I’m choosing to look on the bright side because we can score bathing suits on SALE right as summer begins (dang it, retail world, leave my seasonal bliss alone, thankyew). I’m most curious about this square-neck tankini bathing-suit top — it could be perfect for watersports and running after toddlers on the beach!!
I’m also eyeing up this top-rated linen-cotton beach shirt (the solid neutrals are gorgeous, but that navy stripe, though…). And while not in the theme of beachy goodness…this might be my top sale pick at Nordstrom. I mean, it had me at the word “grandad.” Would be great for an office, but I’m thinking draped over a silky slip dress for date night?! More good finds below! Xx

Hi, gang! Happy Friday! One week and counting until I leave for Austin, where meteorologists seem to be telling me I will, in fact, be little more than a puddle of BBQ-scented sweat. Hurrah!
For the trip, I nabbed those Vans I mentioned last week (in the green, of course — still on sale), and I’m bringing along this beautifully made linen dress to wear alone, over shorts and as a swimsuit cover-up. Multitasking at its finest! My top sale rec, though, carries over from last week: these Pureboosts for just $63. I now own two pairs (including the jammy mauve), and I’ve never been more pleased with a pair of runners, right out of the box.

TWO: Speaking of support, I was just looking up additional colors of the FP Movement Free Throw Crop I’m wearing here and found it in a super-pretty raisin color for $17. It’s called a crop but wears more like a sports bra. I use mine mostly for hiking and mat workouts.

It’s finally summer, and it feels so good. This first week of summer was pretty quiet and restful for Jon and me. But I often have a harder time relaxing and staying in the moment when things are as quiet as they’ve been this week. So, I’ve been spending as much time as possible outdoors. I feel like my body never recovered from spending, like, two years of my life indoors due to COVID. I feel like I’m still trying to replenish my Vitamin D supply, for my soul as well as my physical and mental health. So far, it’s been helping.

My family trip to Oregon really sold me on the color blue. The pure blue of the sunny skies above Mount Hood, the beautiful ombre of blue and green of the ocean along the coast, and the intense royal blue of Crater Lake. So, this week — it’s all blue, baby. Which blue items are tempting me this week? These crisscross AGOLDE jeans, this bright blue poplin dress at J.Crew, and these periwinkle Vionic slides.
ONE: I’m not usually big into prints, but this brown-and-blue Gap dress caught my eye because of its unusual color combo and flattering design. I love the combination of the keyhole detail at the neckline and the gently tiered skirt.
TWO: I love the fit of Madewell blazers. Plus, the 100% linen fabric and bright blue hue of the Double-Breasted Crossover Blazer are wonderful. The style is meant to be oversized, but you still might want to size down.
