When we polled the office, asking what types of gifts everyone was looking for, many of us wanted some solid gifts ideas that didn’t totally break the bank…but still felt very much like A Real Gift. We needed good gift ideas for some of the important women in our lives – our moms, sisters, best friends…maybe even a special teacher or neighbor. The problem, we realized, is that many gift guides are either filled with splurge items (yeah, that Dyson’s amazing but yikes) or they’re like, “here’s this letter mug for $14″.
No shade to the letter mug gift – it has its time and place – but for besties, sisters or moms? We can do better.

The Best Gifts For Women Around $100
This is NOT a strict, under-$100 gift guide. This is more of a loose list of gift ideas that hover around the $100 price range. We wanted some flexibility to include those great gifts that mayyybe go a little over $100, but are well worth that extra, say, $25. We also have plenty of options for gifts that are well under $100…but they had to feel special enough to hang with the $100 crowd (in case anyone else’s family is setting a gifting price point).
