There’s just something fresh and fun about striped pants. They’re different, yet not over-reaching like plaid tries to be, and not too crazy like an animal print in your face. But still, they come to party. And right now my pair is majorly marked down at J.Crew!

These pants are seriously flattering and have the right amount of stretch. I love that they come in regular, tall and petite lengths, so I didn’t have to hack them off or hem them. Score! I’m liking them styled with my new beige All-Stars for a little sporty preppy vibe. The pop of pink with this cute tank is just super-fun and summery. Striped Wide-Leg Jeans Play Well With Birkenstocks, Too
I think I prefer the striped pants with the Converse for a really rad look, but when it’s hot I always want my white Birks. I think it works! The pants aren’t bright white, but light enough they still look good with a white shoe. Plus, I’m never into too-matchy anyway.

And per usual, this one was stealing the show, doing rad moves on her skateboard (she just did an amazing online camp with Skate Like A Girl last week that we both LOVED) and making me laugh. What a little ham. I seriously don’t know what I’d do without her sense of humor right now to get me through. Love this energetic kid so much.
