Every summer (this year especially), I’m always so into finding the right white and ivory clothing pieces for my warm-weather wardrobe. I recently popped into Anthropologie (one of my favorite places for summer outfits) to peruse, and These. Ivory. Pants. stopped me in my tracks.
Ivory Pants That DON’T Disappoint: Pilcro Wide-Leg Trousers
I was skeptical, though, being a little shorter overall (including my torso), and I knew from experience that more often than not, high-waisted, wide-leg pants like this just don’t quite work on me. The waistbands might squish me too much in my straighter middle or sit way too high on my midsection, or the pants would be extremely long in the legs yet too tricky to hem and preserve the drama of the original leg shape.
Well, color me surprised when I went to the dressing room and tried on these gorgeous ivory high-rise, wide-leg trousers by Pilcro — they are perfection.

They have an interior side zipper behind the cute front placket, as well as an inner button for a secure fit. They’re soft but not thin, have stretch and are just gorgeous. These pants also have a cool tab at the back waist for a customized fit. Brilliant! I’m wearing my typical size 28, and they fit beautifully through the booty + thighs where many pants pull too much and are soft enough in the waist area but don’t fall down. True to size, but if you’re between sizes, I wouldn’t size up.
Fit Notes: At 5’4″ with a strong booty + thigh presence on my frame, it’s just tricky to find the long, sweeping wide-leg pant options that sit right in all the right ways. These from Anthropologie’s in-house line Pilcro are not only flattering in fit but also so comfy!

With all the pant love here, I don’t want to forget to mention this really cute tank from Madewell. I sized up to a M so it wouldn’t be tight. It has all the little details and fit that I want in a light but flattering tank for summer!
These Wide-Leg Trousers + This Graphic Tee = Perfection
When I was at Anthropologie trying on these great pants, I also spotted this MOTHER tee in my current favorite shade of green. This green is all I want in my life right now, and this tee is fun (I love a cheesy pun, always haha) and so light and comfy. It’s an investment to be sure, but all MOTHER pieces I’ve ever had have been totally worth it. I wind up wearing these nicer tees so much more than my cheaper options because they are items I truly fall in love with.

This graphic tee has a textured feel from the 50% linen/50% cotton blend. This fabric is my favorite for summer because it breathes better — totally worth having to dry flat instead of in the dryer. These tees continue to be the tops I grab most.
TTS on this, wearing my typical S. Size up if you’d wear it knotted at the waist most…a super-cute way to style it with these pants!

If you’ve been looking for similar pants, friends, definitely give these a try. They are making me excited for summer dressing!

Did you get the petite or regular size? I’ve had my eye on these and at 5’3″ I’m thinking I may need the petite.
They didn’t have the petite in-store when I went, so I got the Regular. I’d say go for the petite! I’m just a bit taller and these are great with these heels but allllmost a little long.
