OK, first off: I am stoked for fall with all these ah-mazing green shades I’m finding this year in the NSale. Being a green-eyed lady, I have always been drawn to gorgeous greens.

Secondly, I know — sell-outs from the NSale. Some of the rad jackets I keep trying on for ya are selling out, but here I’m keeping up-to-date on my top four picks of amazing jackets that are pretty well-stocked or have come back into stock, in addition to the ones I’ve linked below or as alternatives in similar styles. Yay for jackets! I’m definitely a collector…

5 Cool Outfit Ideas Featuring My Fav Bag & Shoe Combos From The NSale

Thirdly, I wanted to show some new cute outfits and found myself without a real theme…but then realized the shoes and bags are SO exciting this year. I get excited about them every year, but this year especially! We’ve got some Clare V, some AllSaints (it’s me, obvi), a new-to-me brand Amie Kestenberg (it’s GORG, btw), and this year’s version of my fav soft metallic tote from Kurt Geiger. So here we go with some cute outfits featuring some really rad accessories that totally complete the looks.

Combo 1: Olive, Ivory & Yep, Purple!

Throw any gray jeans with this look or the PAIGE joggers I love, plus the white FRAME boots and the rad Kurt Geiger bag that is SO soft.

Sweater | Jeans | Boots | Bag

OK. This combo surprised me and now it’s at the top as my favorite! This AllSaints sweater is pretty much the coziest thing I’ve tried on but it does run large on purpose. Wearing an XS. Throw any gray jeans with this look or the PAIGE joggers I love, plus the white FRAME boots and the rad Kurt Geiger bag that is SO soft. (I have and adore last year’s version in blue) I am so digging this purply red with this year’s ‘it color’ olive green. (Hoping these jeans come back as they are quite soft. TTS. Wearing 28)

Combo 2: Taupe & Sage + Leopard

Love love the light leopard bag paired with the soft sage green and the coordinated taupe suede Paul Green boots (which are extra gorg in person...and TTS.)

Coat | Jeans | Boots | Bag

Y’all we are loving this puffer coat. It’s so light and cozy and adorable. TTS. The hood lining…well, I just want to sleep in it. Heh. Love love the light leopard bag paired with the soft sage green and the coordinated taupe suede Paul Green boots (which are extra gorg in person…and TTS) Wearing a 29, one size up, in the FRAME Le Original jeans here. I adore them.

Combo 3: Warm Up Black & White With Olive

We've got Clare V, AllSaints (obvi), a new-to-me brand Amie Kestenberg (GORG, btw), + this year's version of my fav soft metallic tote from Kurt Geiger.

Blazer | Tee | Jeans | Boots | Bag

I adore a black and white graphic tee moment…but sometimes it can look just a leetle bit too stark. I adore this olive AllSaints bag for adding a little warmth to this whole look. Sometimes I ignore how much a great bag can do for a look, but this really brings it all together. I’ve been carrying it for a few days now, too, and it’s just a beautiful, phenomenal bag. Btw, I’m wearing my true size, 28, in the jeans here. It’s helpful I think to see the difference! I’m sure they’ll relax some but I think I’m sticking with the size up.

Combo 4: Classic Tan Trench & Black With Chain Deets

I love the black Amie Kestenberg bag with the black chain detail paired with the Finn mules with the bold gold detail in chain. They work since one is monochromatic, and tie together without fighting each other.

Trench | Jeans | Mules | Bag

Just chic and rad with the chain detail on the shoes and bag, and an easy outfit to throw on without looking it. I love the black Amie Kestenberg bag with the black chain detail paired with the Finn mules with the bold gold detail in chain. They work since one is monochromatic, and tie together without fighting each other. Keeping both of these pieces for sure. I’ve had a tough time deciding how many bags one really does need from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale haha.

Combo 5: Sherpa & Olive Suede + Black

We've got Clare V, AllSaints (obvi), a new-to-me brand Amie Kestenberg (GORG, btw), + this year's version of my fav soft metallic tote from Kurt Geiger.

Jacket (Alternative) | Pants | Boots | Bag

So, since I still don’t have a ton of pieces from the sale, styling a few things like these olive suede boots has been a little challenging. BUT I was pleasantly surprised how this all came together. Usually, I’d pair this jacket with a lighter look overall, but keeping the base outfit, shoes and bag darker — I think it works! And in a kinda unique, unexpected way.

The jacket is quite oversized, y’all. Wearing a small here, but I love the look. I tried it zipped up (which is a little annoying to unzip due to the fuzziness) but I hated it zipped, so that worked out. The pants I adore and run TTS, but just slightly big in the waist (wearing 28.) The Staud boots are simply gorgeous. High arches beware because they are a little tough to pull on, but they are a DREAM on and so comfy. Size up if in-between. (OK, I can barely get a post together without sold-out stuff, but GAH just found this sherpa moto from Levi’s…size up and you’d have a really rad similar vibe!) Ooh or this Faux shearling jacket in the ivory and taupe would be RAD…it’s in plus sizes, too, so that is also rad.

Whew, OK! Omg, so much fun is being had over here putting these outfits together and dreaming of fall. If there’s anything else you’re curious about, please ask below! The reason we get so excited about this stuff is because it’s the only place that gives us these fab prices pre-season instead of post-! So fun. I’ll be sure to keep an eye on restocks and returns and if you find any more rad jackets I’ve missed, let us know those in the comments, too. Stay cool, all you cats and kittens…
