As a gal who has always been excited by a bargain, I cannot resist finding cool things at a fab price. And while my appreciation for really quality, high-end closet pieces has definitely increased over the years (especially after trying on ALL the clothes with this job) I still adore a good under $100 find.
My favorite is to mix and match high and low when putting outfits together…investing in a few really top-notch pieces but mixing them with more reasonable finds when it comes to trendier clothes…or perhaps for items I’m trying out but am not sure will make it to the forever closet.
Style Under $100: 10 Items I Have Or Love
And the good news? Some of my very favorite, most-worn clothing items roll in at under $100 (I’m looking at you checkered Vans and Converse high-tops.) And I had to include a couple of random items for the home because those are interesting finds, too!
This is a great alternative to my much pricier Anine Bing beloved army jacket. It WAS on sale for under $100 when I did this roundup. Doh. Sorry y’all. Full price at $118, but I’ve included a few other under $100 picks here. This would honestly be cute with the striped top, black jeans and Converse in the collage!
These are just a nice pair of transition jeans to full-length without the slouchiness. I used to wear BDG jeans exclusively a few years ago. For the price they are great. I typically go up one size in BDG.
One of my favorite tops right now to wear with my higher-rise jeans and pants. So soft and cute. TTS. Wearing a S.
The neck on this sweater! And I love the seam detail. This gray funnel neck has been popular this month and comes in a few other colors, too, including ivory and black. The details on it make it look much higher-end than its price tag.
This has cleared up things for me in so many ways. I’m less likely to lose my Airpods, they actually stay charged, my watch charger cord isn’t on the kitchen counter anymore and my phone doesn’t accidentally not charge overnight because I didn’t place it exactly on the right spot on my flat magnetic charger (UGH that was so annoying) Love this thing. Perfect for small spaces, small nightstands, or guest rooms, too.
06 | Wooden Clothing Rack
This lovely piece is on its way to me for my office. I love that it not only has shelves and a hanging rod, but it’s not metal, it has places for jeans and pants on the sides AND it actually has a top shelf, too (many I looked at do not.) This would be great for a studio apartment, a closet ‘room’ if you’re lucky enough to have one of those, or a guest room. *My exact piece here appears to have temporarily sold out. I linked to one that looks identical and is even a few $ cheaper!
07 | Warby Parker Glasses
My go-to glasses. I tried to go back to an older pair the other day and I just missed the statement these make!
08 | Sam Edelman Mules
These mules make a great transitional shoe for right now that’s cute with both ripped jeans or for the office. True to size. Comes in quite a few colors, too. I also have them in the light taupe because they’re that good.
Vans are my forever go-to easy sneakers. They just add that perfect bit of graphic pop I love to any outfit and, like the also under $100 Adidas Superstars we love, they magically go with everything.
One of my favorite combos is a pair of these Chuck Taylors with black jeans. Classic. Never seem to go out of style. Size down 1/2 in Converse.
I’m really into these little round-ups of things I currently love and am doing more over on my Instagram right now, as well.
I think when things are like just a little extra in life, like right now, this graphic designer takes some solace in simple pleasures like these little collages.
I hope they provide a little fun moment for you, too, perusing some cute favorites on my list…perhaps a little break from your day.
Would love for you to give me a follow over on IG @laurajansenstyle for more fashion chat, some kitchen dance parties, more round ups of my favorite things (a new series I’m trying out!) with a side of #momlife and social justice talk. Thanks for all of your support of what we do here at The Mom Edit! xo
This one’s for the Pinners…
