TUXE – A Modern Bodysuit Review and Giveaway!

I know I’ve talked about Bradmant bodysuits before – I’m a big fan.  Well they just rebranded themselves Tuxe Bodywear (because it “tucks,” get it?) and opened a store on Philly’s mainline. (Suburban Square, for you locals).  To help them celebrate, I was all “oh hey, why don’t you give my readers some free stuff” because that’s how bloggers do.

But seriously.  I’m over-the-moon to be partnering up with Tuxe for this giveaway.  Not only are they a very pro-woman company (remember this?) but I wear their spot-on perfect basics with everything.  Mostly jeans, because that’s who I am, man….but I can’t imagine a better office-ready staple.  (And I trot these babies out for date night every chance I get.)

As regular readers likely know, I’m partial to Tuxe’s silk blouses…..

…even when it’s raining.

Outfit Details

top: Tuxe Bodywear ‘The CEO’

jeans: Rag and Bone The Skinny in Surf – totally sold out everywhere, but their harbor wash is gorgeous and perfect for summer

shoes: Tieks in ballerina pink

bag: Rebecca Minkoff Fringe Backpack

details: classic Ray-bans, Mike’s old watch, old Chan Luu necklace – FINALLY found something similar!, cardigan

But I know what you tall girls are thinking:  “That short little bodysuit will never fit me.  I gots me some RISE, MAN. ”  Well, thanks to tall sizes, Cams got Tuxed, too.

Cam’s Outfit Details

top: Tuxe Bodywear ‘The CEO’  (wearing a size small, in tall)

jeans: ooo…Cam’s wearing those Madewell Flea Market Flares I’ve been eyeing….

shoes: Vince Camuto studded sandal

sunnies: old, but these are similar (actually those have a seriously cool shape – good pick, Cam)

I’ve also been wearing the heck out of  ‘The Coach’, a classic silk buttondown shirt.  Great with skirts, shorts, and oh-so-sexy with jeans.  I’ve featured it a dozen times on the blog, but you can probably see it best here.  (And yes, it does come in tall as well.)

While I’m totally obsessed with Tuxe’s silk line, their simple cotton bodysuits are also pretty great.

They’re fitted, so this would not have been my top of choice post-partum (even though it is IS nursing-friendly), but now?  Yessss.  Also, these cotton bodysuits are….thick and structured (but not too thick or structured).  Basically, they manage to be both comfortable AND flattering (skimming over lumps and bumps).   Made me feel all Cindy-Crawford-Pepsi-commercial.  Remember that?  (haha)
