Weekly Sales Report 5.7

Happy Friday!

We’re sneaking out a little early this week to give the team a much-needed break. So if you reach out to us over on IG, email, whateva, we’re *hopefully* off enjoying a little family time and will get back to you soon.

But we’d NEVER sneak off before sharing the sales! So let’s get into it…

Weekly Sales Report: Summer Denim, Stylish Dresses, Cute Basics & More

LOTS of MOTHER denim is on sale!! Here’s one of Linzi’s favorite pairs, Scotti’s eyeing up these & Laura spotted the Tomcats on sale yet again! I guess you could say we’re mildly obsessed.

And if jeans aren’t on your radar right now, Julieta found these stunners by Farm Rio and I could live in them all. summer. long. (20% off for AnthroPerks Members! Yay!) More easy, breezy finds like that one, down below. Xo!

Madewell is having a flash sale (use code TWODAYS) and I can’t stop eying these color-block sandals. Also, this bag is giving me Clare V. vibes. In other news, my baby turns one next week (sob)! The difference between the first and last child is astonishing. First born had a French-themed brunch, planned months in advance, replete with a smash cake shaped like a Chanel quilted bag (will put on my IG stores over @meredithmayforth). This last one is getting a “whale” you were born in a pandemic smash cake and maybe some balloons if I can scrounge them up. Sorry kid, mom is doing the best she can.

Speaking of moms, Mother’s Day is this weekend and I want to wish everyone who is a mom or plays a motherly role in someone’s life a very happy Mother’s Day. I know that this can be a difficult day for many. One way I decided to honor the holiday this year is by donating to National Bail Out, a Black-led and Black-centered collective that has a goal to bail out Mamas for Mother’s Day. Many mothers and caregivers are in jail for minor infractions or not being able to make bail; NBO is trying to remedy that. To donate, click here

I am now officially the mother of a teenager and we’ve been celebrating hard all week. For my big guy’s actual birthday, his only request was Froot Loops and video games, but we threw in some surprises for him throughout the week. He starts in-person school next week for the first time since the pandemic began, so I’ve been trying to focus on enjoying our last few days of togetherness. My little guy decided he would be his brother’s butler for his birthday week (complete with the butler stance and English accent), so that has added a nice touch to the togetherness for sure.

And then Friday comes about and I get to enjoy the sales!!! Saks is the sale I’m obsessed with today. It’s a buy-more-get-more event and includes a ton of their fabulous denim. MOTHER Denim, of course, is where I headed first, and as long as it’s not pre-order, all MOTHER Denim is included. Other fantastic forever-closet pieces are included as well, like this denim jacket that is likely the answer to my ongoing search for a non-frumpy “something” to wear over summer dresses when it’s cool at night. Happy weekend everyone.

High fives and hugs to all the types of moms out there this weekend and all the types of things this holiday may bring for you. Everyone is worthy of taking a break and a moment this weekend. And TGIF, y’all. What a week. Speaking of mothers, Universal Standard is offering up three gorgeously designed graphic tees (this one is my fav with the pop of red) and all proceeds go to Planned Parenthood. Love that company.

Sales are pretty fab this weekend. Somehow this cute sweater bomber at BR is only $36! I included it in my summer workwear capsule post from this week. Such a great layering piece. That Joie ruched dress is also calling my name. Gorg. Have a lovely weekend, friends. xoxo

Helllooooo…if you’ve been following along on my instagram, you know this past week has been intense, to say the least. My sweet baby boy just had a pretty gnarly surgery to correct his skull. We’re talking a team (!!) of surgeons removing his skull from his head, cutting + reshaping it, and putting it back on to allow his brain to grow properly. WOW. It feels surreal just typing that, and hurts my stomach a little (that’s a lie, it hurts a lot). But he’s so freaking strong and recovering more every day.

A full week in the hospital meant LIVING in a mask, and my skin has never ached more (even had a pretty sad rash). So now I’m clinging to my Biossance skincare routine (ethical + clean + sustainable company)–this toner is cleaning out my stuffed up pores while simultaneously calming my irritated skin, I HIGHLY recommend it. They have free shipping–and free returns–so you can’t lose when trying this brand out. This moisturizing starter set includes four of my dry skin favorites and gives you a 40% discount! Xx

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there! I hope we all get to take a break this weekend and pat ourselves on the back for a job well done. (Especially Amy! Girl…we’re all thinking of you!) My dad was a middle school principal and he always used to say “teaching is the hardest job you’ll ever love,” but as a former teacher myself, I say motherhood!

New pjs just make me so happy and these joggers from Banana are 50% off…pair them with this robe (also on sale) and I’ll be one happy mama. I also have to shout out the flash sale at Colleen Rothschild! Her retinol eye serum is on sale and I swear it’s a holy grail product. Enjoy your weekend, everyone!

It feels illegal to be able to sleep peacefully in another country when mine is bleeding out.” A lovely woman had this sign when I got to Grand Central to go to march for Colombia in Times Square. I felt that deep in my heart. Colombia has been on a strike against the government for nine days. We’re fighting a corrupt government, poverty, inequality, and police and military brutality. This post is very useful to understand what’s going on.

My mind has been in Colombia for the most part, but perusing sales always helps. You can see I’m very focused on finding breezy pants like these for summer and Anthropologie’s 20% off sale is one I’ll shop this weekend.

Happy Friday, y’all! The weather here in Colorado has been absolutely gorgeous, and I am excited to spend more time outside. Yesterday Mia and I headed out on the trails with one of my besties and enjoyed two hours of sunshine and happiness. I love that spring is here and that summer is right around the corner!

This week’s sales are giving me all the summer vibes, and are so, so good! If you follow me on TikTok then you may have seen one of my recent posts where I mentioned that I found the best jean shorts for the season and they are under $20. They are the perfect length, the distressing is subtle and have amazing stretch. Needless to say, I am in love with them! Oh and ps: I found this gorg satin robe for $25 too! I hope you all have a happy and sunny weekend! XX

Cam’s Sale Picks

Hi! I’ve been going through a clean-out–mentally and around the house. I went through our closet, switched out winter to spring/summer…and then turned around and tackled the storage space underneath the stairs…[menacing music]. It was the spot where I stashed the kids’ clothes, the ones they had grown out of. Whoah. I did not realize how much was under there. TOO MUCH. Oh my goodness. A project that I thought would take a couple of hours turned into a week-long project. Yehhhh. I’m glad I tackled it, though (or still am…heh. I’m currently washing a bunch to be donated + sold). I was actually caught off guard by the emotional journey this process took me on! I held little baby clothes that I hadn’t seen in years, but that instantly brought me back to each of my children’s sweet baby days. ugh. I cried. It wasn’t the sad cry, really…but more of an “oh, that’s gone now. okay. I will release this time now”. It was beautiful, in a way. *sniff*

ANYWAY, my sale picks this week are really all for me. lol. You can shop them, too, though! After cleaning out my closet, I found the “holes”–the stuff I do not have and could really use. For instance, dressier tops like this Ruffled Tulle Blouse that I would easily wear a pair of cut-offs + strappy sandals with. Another thing my wardrobe is lacking is an everyday-type shirt dress, like this Relaxed Fit Cotton Poplin Striped Shirtdress (very Audrey Hepburn to me). Lastly, I don’t necessarily need this, but I cannot stop thinking about this Suwa Jumpsuit. It’s incredible and I want it.

Cheers, Cams

Em’s Sales Picks

As I type this, Lana is crushing leftover artichokes for breakfast (if you’re local, I can’t recommend Greenhearts Family Farm’s CSA enough–they deliver throughout the Bay Area)–and it’s more or less all I need for Mother’s Day. Girl after my own heart right there.

I’ve been on the hunt for a statement dress that can make me feel all sorts of lovely this summer, whether I’m at home or out and about. So far this one is in the lead–it reminds me a little of the gorgeous embroidered maxi I got from Anthro last year (shocker, it’s also from Anthro)–and it’s on sale with an extra 25% off this weekend. Feels worth it. While it’s not technically on sale, Biossance has finally restocked the Squalane + Elderberry Jelly Cleanser that Instagram keeps telling me is bananas (errr, berries?). It’s relatively affordable at $28 and it comes with a free mini of my fave vegan lip balm–plus orders of $50+ receive a free Best of Biossance Kit, which is full of surprisingly generous trial size products. (I received the same kit with my last order, and it’s what I’ve been using for weekend trips into Sacramento over the past few months.) Happy weekend, pals!

Chinny’s Sales Picks

It’s been a long weekend in these parts. I’m 34 weeks pregnant and trying to wind down on work so I can step away before my due date. I worked right up until my little one arrived last time and I’m trying my hardest not to do the same this time around. I literally got back from the hospital and had to log in to my work computer to send over plans I had been working on….yes very stressful. This time around, I hope to have my feet up, watching my fav shows with a snack or two while waiting for this little mister to make his debut into the world…I know, famous last words! 🙂

I’m also finding myself drawn to easy, comfy items. Looking vibrant, yet comfy is very much my vibes these days 🙂 Case in point, this cute lil print dress. I would wear this with a pair of white sneakers – you can never go wrong with a white sneaker. And to up the coolness factor, I would throw on these sunnies. Or I would wear an easy dress like this, or this, with cute sandals and a denim jacket. Easy, vibrant, and chic!

Happy Weekend, everyone.
