As I prepare for Baby Number 4, a lot of my girlfriends are getting ready to welcome their first into the world. I started pretty young…I guess you could say I’m the seasoned veteran of the group.
So of course, I want to make sure my friends are all well-equipped to take on motherhood for the first time! I’ve pulled together my top 10 tried-and-true must-have baby items in hopes that some of you new mamas out there might find them helpful, too.
Top 10 Must-Have Baby Registry Items

1. Ergobaby Adapt Carrier
I love this carrier and used it non-stop for the first six months with my youngest. It adapts to baby’s weight, so I was able to carry her in it as early as newborn (or 7lbs). This was definitely my preferred carrier if I was going out of the house.

2. Boba Wrap Baby Carrier
The Boba wrap is so soft! It’s actually easy to put on once you get the hang of it. All three of my kids loved being carried in these wraps over the traditional baby carrier. It’s also super budget-friendly and comes in a ton of colors!

3. Fridababy Bitty Bundle of Joy Kit
Y’all, I would have not survived the early days without the Windi or the Nose Frida. My babies are GASSY as all heck, and this Windi contraption really helped to relieve it. The Nose Frida sounds gross, I know, but it’s made with a filter so there is no way for the snot to actually get sucked up into your mouth. It was the easiest, fastest way to help my daughter when she was snotty and sick.

4. Magic Bullet Baby Food Processor
I absolutely loved this food processor, and can’t wait to use it again for Baby Number 4. I had a really bad experience with some store-bought baby food when my second child was an infant, and she ended up in the hospital, so I make all of my baby foods now. This system makes it so easy to do!

5. Magic Bullet Baby Food Steamer
For me, this steamer goes hand-in-hand with the food processor — it just adds to the ease of the entire food-making process. I would chop up my fruits or veggies, throw them in here, and in a few minutes, they were tender and ready for the blender! I can’t recommend this product enough if you want to make your baby’s food!

6. Prince Lionheart Wipes Warmer
No baby likes a cold wipe on their little tushie, so I always highly recommend that new moms buy a wipes warmer! They also make this in travel size.

7. UPPAbaby Vista Travel System
This travel system is worth the investment. The bassinet attachment is the best, it’s all I used for the first four months or so. I just love all of the seating options and how smooth of a ride it is for my littles!

8. Babymoov Lovenest Pillow
This pillow is so great to use in a rocker, swing, stroller (or anywhere really) to help support your baby’s head and prevent flat-head syndrome (which I experienced with my second baby).

9. Dohm Elite White Noise Machine
My youngest still sleeps with her sound machine at night. TBH, I have considered buying one for my own room, but I like to be able to hear my kids at night, so I’ve always resisted the urge! We also have the travel-size version we take with us everywhere. Honestly, this is an item I could not live without for my newborns. I’ve found that it drowns everything out and helps them sleep so much better.

10. The Beebo Free Hand Bottle Holder
The more children I have, the more necessary I find a free hand whenever possible. I’ve always struggled to find innovative ways to prop up the bottle — like trying to awkwardly hold it with my neck or chin — and this contraption made life a lot easier!
