Hi, I’m Julieta, mom to two boys. I might not have girls of my own, but I do have three nieces, and I go bonkers when I see something pretty for them. Exactly a year ago, my youngest niece was born, and while checking the Nordstrom baby’s section, these gorgeous headbands caught my eye.

A super-soft headband that grows with your baby and is on sale? I was a happy girl’s aunt and immediately got some for my sister to try with her baby girl. She became obsessed with them, and I’m going to let her words tell you how much:

These headbands mean three words to me: comfort, style, and uniqueness. They don’t leave any mark and have grown with my baby. She’s been wearing them since she was one-month-old and [she] just turned one. I love that among so many girl accessories, they stand out and are always the perfect touch for every one of my baby girls’ outfits.

My sister takes dressing her girls very seriously. I think that’s why I had boys; instead, I spend five seconds thinking about what they are going to wear. This year, as soon as I saw the headbands were part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale again, I asked her to choose some new colors to bring them to my niece for my upcoming trip to Colombia. Already packed!!

How cute is she, right? Should I try for a girl? Please say, no! For now, I’m about to hop on a plane so I can go and see her!!! Agh, it sucks to be a long-distance aunt!

2020 Update: This is now my go-to gift to any friend with a new baby girl. They LOVE them. Also, I’m not flying anywhere, just walking to my backyard and, I’m missing my family like crazy. I had planned to spend most of this summer in Colombia, and now I don’t even know when we’ll be able to go.
