Bloomingdale’s reached out recently, asking if I’d take a look at their new Vince Camuto and Sanctuary pieces. This is never a tough sell — I love these brands. So I did my thing: ordered a bunch of stuff, tried it all on, intended to put together one Epic Outfit To Rule Them All…and then couldn’t decide. Why be so limiting, S? So I ended up with FIVE cute outfits that are perfect for transitioning into summer…yet most of these pieces can be rotated into your existing wardrobe right now. (I just wore this tee last Sunday, actually.)
OK, shall we start with fancy? Yes, let’s. (But there’s plenty of everyday, too — just keep scrolling…)
The Jumpsuit That Can Be Worn To A Wedding (or Just Weekending)
This little linen jumpsuit from Vince Camuto is, obviously, an easy piece to throw on with flat sandals for the weekend. But what surprised me is how effortlessly it dresses up. Perhaps it’s the color, perhaps it’s the flattering fit…but add some heels and a clutch, and you have yourself somethin’ fancy.
A Light And Floaty Jumpsuit That Can Be Dressed Up or Down
This Sanctuary jumpsuit doesn’t look like much on the website — which is one of the reasons I ordered it (sometimes I find the best stuff this way). In person, this jumpsuit is light and airy, it sort of just…floats around the body and was simply a joy to wear.
Like Jeans & A Tee…But Upgraded
This was one of my very favorite outfits. High-rise, wide-leg crops are the silhouette right now, and I love how the stitching makes the dark black jeans look fresh and summer-ready. Besides, who doesn’t like an interesting white tee? There’s something so French-girl about this outfit.
Mom Shorts…But Saved By Good Tailoring
This looks like a classic summer outfit for moms: mom shorts + striped tee. But the tee is linen, so it drapes really well, and the extra-long short sleeve is rather cool. And these shorts? Perfectly tailored. I found myself saying things like, ‘these shorts are a nice length” and then dying a little inside BUT: as much as I love my denim underwear…there are times I don’t feel like showing a little cheek. So when cheek is out…and “nice length” is in…I’m reaching for these shorts.
Cargo Pants Forever And Ever
This has been one of my summer go-to outfits for years: cargo pants + white top. Sometimes the top is frilly or pretty or sexy (date night), and sometimes the top is a tee. In any case, I’m loving the cargo pants featured below.
Shop My Summer Outfit Favorites From Bloomingdale’s
All pieces featured above can be found in this shopping boutique below. I also threw in a few additional sandal and straw bag options, too, just for fun.
NOTE: Camo lovers!! I also have one option for you (not pictured above): If you like camo, try this pair of camo cargo pants…but size up. I had ordered a size 25, but it was too small (I’m exchanging for a size 26 — will let you know how it looks).
A huge thank you to Bloomingdale’s for sponsoring this post!! I love you guys. The selection is insane, your return policy makes it SO easy to shop (365 days, FYI), and even your in-house brands are both spot-on and of high quality. As always, all product choices, thoughts, and opinions are my own (especially my love of denim underwear — not pushing that on anyone, haha). And readers, thank you for you continued support. It doesn’t go unnoticed, and is so very much appreciated.
