Oh, Anthropologie! How I love a good sale from you! Many of my most-worn items are from Anthropologie: they have so many easy-to-wear pieces with interesting cuts, patterns, or color (my favorite qualities). They also have REALLY good sales (which I wait patiently or sometimes impatiently for). Their Black Friday sale this year does NOT disappoint. 30% off EVERYTHING!!! My go-tos from Anthropologie are interesting top layers, fun and playful pieces, as well as denim when it goes on sale.
(And when you’re done here, check out our Black Friday Shop. Dressing room selfies, editor wishlists and Black Friday guides, AND…a full shopping list of the best Black Friday sales, broken down my retailer.)

5 Anthro Outfit Pieces I’ve Tried
1. Woven Cardigan
I love this cardigan! It’s soft, not too heavy, and looks equally cute over jeans as it does with dresses and skirts. The cut and placement of the pockets, as well as the weave, are a little bit different from most cardigans I’ve tried, so it wins for me in the “something interesting” department.
2. Mock Neck Sweater Jacket
I probably have more “interesting” black cardigans/sweater-jackets from Anthropologie than I need. They are very practical, get worn a ton, and I really never regret having them in my closet. This sweater jacket with fun sleeves comes in a gorgeous orange/red as well.
3. Feathered Maxi Skirt
First of all, let’s start with WHY oh WHY do I let Shana dress me up and then smile ridiculously for the camera? Try to look past my ridiculousness and appreciate the FABULOUS skirt I’m wearing. It’s Shana’s, but I was the one who found it and convinced her to buy it (so I should get SOME credit). If you don’t have a friend who owns this (that you can borrow from), it’s a pretty AH-MAZING skirt for ultimate playfulness. This year’s version (on the right) is equally as fantastic!
4. Colorblocked Sweater Coat
This is my attempt at “Who Wore It Better”. Please, don’t answer that question. I wore this sweater-jacket on repeat this fall and still throw it on when I’m in a car and don’t need my puffer. Looks good over all black workout clothes, jeans, and of course the way this model styled it with freezing cold legs (seriously…what tights could I wear??). Limited sizing left, but this one, this one, and this one are the same coat, but in different patterns.
5. Pick A Pom Winter Hat
I actually am planning on writing a whole post on this silly hat because it is SOOOOO much fun! It’s an interchangeable Pom Pom hat….as in, you buy the base (it has a snap on the top) and then you pick the pom pom (or in my case pom poms) and build a hat or mix and match depending on your outfit or mood. This small silly hat is bringing me so much joy right now when I get to make my morning pom pom decision. I just ordered a few more pom poms. I may have a pom pom purchasing problem.
5 Anthro Outfit Pieces I Want To Try
6. Ribbed Midi Dress
Remember this Madewell midi dress I wore on repeat the end of summer and fall? Well, I think I found its winter companion on the right at Anthro. I’m thinking with tights and booties as well as with my new fave Gentle Souls Tall Boots.
7. Texured Cardigan
I may have hit my limit on black cardigans in the closet, but I have NOT hit my limit on brown ones. This is my favorite shade right now and this one looks so soft and cozy, but with an interesting collar and shape. Comes in black and oatmeal as well.
8. Plaid Tunic
So….I’m in love with my Gentle Souls tall boots (stylish, soft, flexible, and comfortable), but I AM struggling a bit trying to figure out what all I can wear them with. I think this tunic would be perfect.
9. Sequined Cami
Ever since my NudeStix Rose Gold Eye Set arrived from Sephora, I can’t stop thinking about this cami. I need this sequin cami (obviously!) to match my new fabulous eye shadow and to wear any time I can. I really like it with this light denim.
10. MOTHER Denim
Okay..here’s the tricky thing. Shopbop has a WAY better selection of MOTHER brand denim (and better size availability), but Anthro’s 30% is a better sale. MOTHER denim fits me well (most of the other designer brands don’t fit my bigger calves).
