Gang, Shopbop’s “Event of the Season” is underway! This sale applies to almost all full-price and sale products (hint: look for ‘EVENT19’ under the price) and it means 20% off all orders….or 25% off purchases of $500 or more.
As we’ve mentioned before, we typically use these big Shopbop sale events to stock up on all of our hardworking pieces for spring and summer….so it’s not hard to reach that $500 limit. This year’s sale has a ton of our favorite denim, sandals, bags, and some seriously pretty summer dresses. It also has my favorite underwear so, uh, there’s that.
Our Top Picks From The Shopbop Event of the Season Sale
The shopping boutique below is a combination of stuff I already have and love (we’re alllllll about fully testing our recommendations because life)….OR they’re the pieces I’m seriously considering. And yes – many of these pieces are pretty pricey. Obviously I won’t be adding all, uh, 40 into my cart (yikes – got a little carried away) but I’ve found that a well-thought-out splurge (on sale!!) tends to be really well used summer after summer.
I ended up putting together what I would consider my ideal Spring/Summer capsule wardrobe, complete with my well-loved favorites and some new favorites that I’ll be updating my closet with soon.
Jackets, shoes, bags and jeans . . . now is a great time to invest in the pieces you’ll wear over and over (and over) again. And of course I threw in a couple of dresses to go with all of the new shoes and jackets.
I’m looking at you, basics. Per usual, those are my favorite to snag at the Shopbop sales. I’m loving my AG Sophia jeans and they’re part of the sale again. Hooray! And I sure hope that Beyond Yoga bra is as soft as the leggings are…that I want to live in daily.
Obviously I’m going to include shoes in my personal picks (Way to Go Shopbop for including Hasbeens AND No.6’s in the sale!), but I also found some really good workout tops, fabulously fun accessories, and cute summer dresses.
Lately, I’m all about all-denim looks (like this amazing one shoulder dress), investment booties and versatile pieces to wear down the shore all summer. Apparently, I have no actual jeans on the brain (or pants for that matter) so I’m glad the rest of our awesome editors took care of that for us.
“Are these jeans new? You look amazing!” said my husband about these jeans. Of course they’re on sale. You can check a full post I did on them here. Other than that I own at least half of my picks and love them all. Check the white henley top, the Free People dress and the leopard loafers.
