Know what’s better than one spring trend? THREE of them. And if those three happen to harken back to the days of Madonna, Blossom, and LL Cool J well. ‘Nuff said. And since it’s rare to find an outfit combination that so seamlessly combines practicality, versatility AND style…obviously, I had to share. This is truly the type of outfit that could go from school pick-up (that bucket hat will hide all manner of bedhead), to working out (oh hey, bike shorts) to the club (belt bags are totally legit).
I like to add a blazer when it’s cold. It really brings the look together.
Now if you don’t actually have bike shorts, this is not necessarily a problem. You simply grab a pair of leggings and fold the lower fabric up over your knees. And yes — it does cut off your circulation when you do this, but it’s all about sustainability, you guys. Reuse. Think of Earth. Be more biodegradable.
It’s so freeing, wearing spandex instead of denim. Because sometimes you need to stretch.
Breathe in, you guys. Like…really BREATHE. Harness your joy to access mindfulness. Meditate on that.
top: Anthropologie Cloth & Stone Lace-Up Top (xs)
bike shorts: My old Lululemon tights
belt bag: Faux snake from Amazon
bucket hat: UO Canvas Bucket Hat
pumps: Vince Clare D’Orsay Pump (old)
In summary: yes to bike shorts and no to circulation. It’s all very meta.
