It’s rare these days that I see something and do a complete double-take, but that’s what happened when I was scrolling through pages of stuff on Revolve last night.  A blouse had caught my eye:  embroidered, with a rainbow of threads in an aztec-like print.  A few minutes later, it happened again – this time it was a bright off-the-shoulder dress, trimmed in pom-poms.

When I realized that both of these pieces were by the same designer, Piper, I had to check it out.

Piper, if you haven’t heard (and they’re certainly new to me), is worth putting on your radar.  Each piece is totally unique and on-trend, they’re hand-washable (despite the fancy details like embroidery, pom-poms, etc), and each piece retails for under $200.  I love that these pieces can easily do double-duty – with flats and cut-offs for daytime, yet special enough for a night out.

Keep reading for a list of my favorite pieces, with a few notes on how I’d style them….

  1. Hi Shana,
Kind of off the topic. Interested in the iro galaxy black leather moto jacket on sale on the Intermix website. I think its my size. Would you take the chance to order knowing they except no refunds? Is this the same jacket you wear. Thanks for your advice in advance.

  2. As you mentioned in one of your notes “no strange bra required” is it possible to have a round up of summer clothes tanks, dresses for the more well endowed? At 32F my breasts are literally the hardest wardrobe problem to accommodate. I wear good bras that help lift and reduce, but they aren’t pretty straps or strapless. . .
