Gang! (as Shana calls you). If you follow me on IG (@julietatorresd), you may know I just had my tummy tuck. I’m writing this post because I was finally able to put my laptop on my “lap” and feel somehow productive. I’m on Day 6 of recovery, and I can see a little light at the end of the tunnel. This is hard!
These pictures? We shot them the night before my surgery. This jumpsuit? I’m really hoping I can wear it for NYE. A jumpsuit is comfortable and feels like pajamas, but makes you look like royalty. And if said jumpsuit comes in a beautiful velvet? Even better.
Do you ever stress over what to wear for a Holiday Party you’re hosting? You want to look great but also be comfortable to do all the hosting-related things. I’d choose this jumpsuit (even for any holiday party you want to attend and look fabulous, but also be comfy). And who needs heels when there are comfy metallic boots? NOBODY! Ha! I actually got these boots because I’m not sure if I’ll be able to pull off heels so soon after after my surgery. Let’s see! Right now I’m walking like a 100-year-old woman and living in sweatpants. So grab some wine, then take a look at how cozy I am wearing a velvet jumpsuit, and check out some other amazing ones I found!

Jumpsuit – Mine is almost gone, but no worries! I scoured the web looking for amazing velvet jumpsuits. So check them out below.
Boots – These boots are called “The Dayboot” and yes, you can walk in them all day long. Most comfortable boots I own. The metallic stretches a little, but there are other colors to choose from.

PS: You can find me over at (@julietatorresd). There’s a lot of high-rise jeans, athleisure, and a raw and vulnerable take on motherhood. Tummy tuck journey too. I believe social media shouldn’t be for the good things only.
