Frank & Eileen has done it again. Those of you who are already fans of Frank & Eileen will not be surprised.
This woman-owned, woman-led, slow-fashion brand has already created quite the collection of well-designed casual wardrobe essentials. Travel sets and individual pieces that truly master the art of laid-back, comfy elegance. For fall 2023, however, they’ve added a handful of rich new gorgeous colors and a few new minimalist cozy styles that are pretty dang captivating.
Yet again, Frank & Eileen gets that effortlessly chic vibe juuuuuuust right.
Turns out, Frank & Eileen’s newest comfy pieces and gorgeous colorways are pretty much ALLLLLLLLL I want to wear for the upcoming “cozy season”.
*Early Holiday Shoppers: If you’re an indulgent gift-giver, I highly recommend my most-worn Frank & Eileen travel set (and my mom’s fav too): the Malibu , the chic Audrey capelet, or the new Kane hoodie capelet. All of them versatile and effortlessly cozy-chic.
Frank & Eileen: What I ACTUALLY Want To Wear…Pretty Much ALWAYS
My newest favorite for cozy-at-home as well as cozy, but with a stylish vibe, for out and about is the Kane Capelet hoodie (SO freaking good!). I am also madly in love with pretty much EVERYTHING in their triple fleece evergreen (one of the new absolutely gorgeous colors).
Frank & Eileen’s new 100% pure Italian cotton hand-knit sweater is definitely an indulgent splurge, but it’s also pretty luxurious (especially if you’ve been searching for a deliciously soft non-wool sweater option that doesn’t pill).
I’m finding it difficult to NOT wear my Frank & Eileen pieces on a daily basis. If you’re new to Frank & Eileen (and especially their triple fleece)…the best way I can describe my devotion is I love being able to basically wear a “sweatsuit”, but I feel fancy and put together and special in it if it’s Frank & Eileen.
On two weekend nights this past month, I actually stopped as I was walking out the door in my tucked in, form-fitting, sexy-ish top… turned around, and ran back upstairs to change into my Frank & Eileen capelet instead. Both nights getting compliments on my cool top.
Exciting New Arrivals: Frank & Eileen Gets Cozy Elegance JUST Right
When it comes to figuring out WHY Frank & Eileen gets laid-back, comfy elegance JUST right over and over again, for me it’s the quality of the triple fleece fabric and the unique shape of the pieces.
The weight of the triple fleece fabric is JUST right for giving the pieces the perfect drape. I admit I’ve tried to find dupes and I just can’t find anything that compares. The quality of the fabric combined with the unique cuts/shape of the pieces (that give them just the right sophisticated casual vibe) …makes them feel very special.
1.Frank & Eileen Triple Fleece Travel Sets
Known for their travel sets, Frank & Eileen, now has an exciting wider selection of varieties and colors.
Yep…it’s a good one! First of all, this green. So pretty, right? The Patrick Henley is fun to wear with the pants as a matching set, but also looks great with jeans, black pants, and ivory. I do love the green, but I have to admit I was eyeing the Irish Chocolate color too.
Sizing Notes: I’m happy with my typical Frank & Eileen size S. The Patrick Henley does not have an oversized fit like the capelets, so if you’re wanting more room, I would size up.
Speaking of new gorgeous colors, the Air Force blue is ALSO a beauty. We know that I adore the Audrey capelet, from my previous Frank & Eileen post, but this was my first time trying the new-ish Eamon joggers and they’re super cute (and comfy). Love the pocket detailing.
Sizing Notes: The Audrey capelet comes in one size when ordered separately or in set. As you can see, it’s an oversized fit on my 5’2, 140-ish lb build. I’m wearing a s in the joggers and they fit, but I wish I would have sized up to a medium for a slouchier fit.
This hoodie capelet is my top pick from all the new-to-me pieces. I’ve been wearing it on repeat. With the hand-cut raw edges, oversized hood, uniquely shaped sleeves, and capelet style, it’s pretty freaking great. So now, of course, I’m tempted to get it in black as well.
Sizing Notes: Wearing a size xs. Definitely an oversized fit. I think I could probably do my typical size s, but the xs is good.
Frank & Eileen’s first ever sweater! A luxe splurge for sure, but definitely a special sweater. Made from 100% pure Italian cotton yarn that is died in Italy and then hand-knitted by artisans in California. It has a lovely rolled neck and a unique exposed seam down the side of Frank & Eileen’s signature continuous-sleeve design.
A beautiful and unique design, but the luxurious look and feel of this silky-soft cotton is what really won me over. A fabulous luxe sweater option if you prefer non-pilling luxurious cotton over wool or cashmere. Bonus…machine-washable.
Sizing Notes: Fits more similar to the Patrick Henley than the capelets. Not super oversized. I actually think I might prefer a size medium for a bit more oversized look, but the small definitely fits well.
Next on my list to try: I ordered the winter version of my Audrey Capelet (the Effie with long sleeves), and am totally interested in the cult-fav Eileen button-up shirt now made in a triple fleece option! Anyone tried it yet? Any other pieces you guys are interested in us trying?
