The stress is real this year. And as much as I’d love to go on a spa weekend getaway, that’s just not happening right now. Mostly because of Coronavirus, but also because…$$$. Those spa treatments don’t come cheap.
But who’s to say we can’t just recreate some of them in our own houses? (For a fraction of the cost, too.)
Tell your family you need some alone time (don’t we all), put on a movie for the kids, and escape to the bathroom for a mini-pamper session. Run a bath, add some sea salts, put on a face mask, do a deep conditioning treatment…there are a ton of ways to pamper yourself, relax and give your skin some TLC–whether you have a couple of minutes or a couple of hours.
Spa Day At Home: Give Gifts That Pamper
If you’re not self-gifting this perfect pandemic present, then this might be just the right collection of at-home spa products — think facial massage, exfoliators, sleep aids, deep conditioners….ahhhh…to package up for someone else.
Give the gift of a little stress relief this year…here are some ideas to help you get started.

1. HERBIVORE BOTANICALS Coco Rose Coconut Oil Body Polish
I love a good body exfoliator and this one comes in a reusable glass jar that’s perfect for gifting. It leaves your skin moisturized but not greasy. One reviewer even said it completely got rid of her Keratosis Pilaris (a skin condition that causes dry, rough patches and tiny bumps).

2. Herbivore Botanicals Calm Bath Salts
These bath salts would make the perfect gift for someone who needs a little relaxation in their life (raises hand). Add to your bath, let them dissolve and enjoy…add a glass of wine for extra relaxation😜. Reviewers said the bottle was larger than they expected, too, which is always a good surprise.

3. Rose Quartz Roller
This roller has great reviews. It can be used for a facial massage with a calming and cooling sensation for stress relief. It also helps to reduce puffiness and improves skin texture…a claim confirmed by those reviews! Kat’s roommate uses hers daily and loves it!

4. ARCONA Triad Toner Pads
Another product with glowing reviews, these toner pads can be used to cleanse, tone and hydrate or to remove makeup, and leaves your skin glowing.

5. Coconut Love Body Ritual Set
This set is currently sold out, but the Coconut Milk Body Polish (a natural body scrub that gently exfoliates and moisturizes your skin), Coconut Milk Bath Soak (a luxurious and indulgent bath soak with skin-softening organic coconut milk), and the Coconut Ultra Hydration Body Oil (a light coconut-scented body oil) are all available separately and would all make great gifts–together or separately!

6. Bright Eyes Illuminating Colloidal Silver + Collagen Eye Patches
These are collagen-infused eye patches with illuminating pearl to help eyes instantly appear brighter and more rested. (You had me at those before and after pictures.) With aloe vera to decrease puffiness, collagen to firm and tighten, they can also be used on nose and mouth lines. (Store in the fridge for extra cooling.)

7. TULA Skincare Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm
OK, this eye balm has amazing reviews. Formulated with caffeine, aloe, blueberry, hyaluronic acid and rosehip oil (a plant-based alternative to retinol) to make your skin look more awake, refreshed and glowing, it can be reapplied throughout the day whenever you need a little pick-me-up! It can be used all around the eyes (under eye and up to the brow bone) for a brighter appearance AND as a highlighter on your cheekbones, cupid’s bow, nose…anywhere you’d normally use highlighter.

8. Lalicious Body Melt
This product seems like it can do it all: from quenching seriously dry skin to taming flyaways and treating split ends, it can also be used as a hair and scalp mask, makeup remover and shave gel. Ahhhhmazing. (In two scents: sugar coconut and sugar lavender.)

9. HERBIVORE BOTANICALS Exfoliate + Glow Head to Toe Set
This set that’s perfect for gifting includes two body polishes and an exfoliating face mask to make your skin “glow from head to toe.” You could also divy the products up and use them as stocking stuffers!

10. This Works Sleep On It Gift Set
A great gift or stocking stuffer for under $20, this set includes mini versions of the Deep Sleep Pillow Spray (a spray I have and love…I spritz in on my pillow before bed and it’s very calming), Stress Check Roll-On (an aromatherapy rollerball that can be used anytime to relieve stress), and the Sleep Together Calming Spray (a spray that can be used in rooms to help calm everyone before bed). A great way to sample the products!

11. PETER THOMAS ROTH Pumpkin Enzyme Mask
I had to order this one for myself after reading those reviews, one that came from a licensed esthetician who loves using it on her own clients. This mask “exfoliates with pumpkin enzyme, peels with alpha hydroxy acid and polishes with aluminum oxide crystals” to “even out skin tone, smooth fine lines and wrinkles and clarify skin for a smoother, younger-looking, radiant and revitalized complexion.” I can’t wait to try it!

12. Briogeo* Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask
I have this hair mask and love it. Another product I bought based off of the reviews, this mask really does help to repair dry, brittle hair (mine was bleached…like bleached bleached) and is formulated without any silicones, sulfates or parabens. It leaves hair better hydrated and feeling really soft. (*Black-owned business)

13. OUAI Scalp + Body Scrub
This is such a cool product! You can use it on your scalp before shampooing to get rid of product buildup, to even out dry patches without drying out your hair and on your body to exfoliate and soften dry skin. (It was a 2020 Allure Best of Beauty winner, too!)

14. Charlotte’s Jewel Pots Eyeshadow
I’m all about the easiest makeup right now, and it doesn’t get any easier than this long-wearing, gel-to-powder eyeshadow that you can just swipe on with a finger. (Plus the colors are gorgeous!)

15. KOSAS Wet Lip Oil Gloss
Another one I had to try myself after reading the reviews, this lip gloss doubles as a lip treatment that plumps and hydrates lips…and comes in a bunch of gorgeous soft shades.

Here’s to a little stress relief and relaxation at home!
XOXO,
Scotti
This one’s for the pinners…
