Warning:  Kendra Scott’s new Color Bar is seriously addictive.  It’s one of those internet black-holes that seem to suck me in around 10PM at night and then BOOM!  It’s midnight.  But….it’s good. Really, really good.  In the spirit of full disclosure, Kendra Scott did send us gift cards so we could play designer (SWOON), but with price points in the $50 – $130 range, I’d be writing this baby up either way.  (shhh!)

You can choose from several necklace styles (statement to delicate), rings, earrings or bracelets.  Pick gold or silver, then drop in your jewels (they come in a rainbow of colors).  And voila!   My favorite part is seeing what everyone came up with…..

Shana’s Pick (aka me), $130 – A long time ago (eons, really) Lucky Mag ran a summer jewelry article that showed a pretty girl in a casual white tank, orange lipstick, and a big statement necklace in a rainbow of colors.  I swooned and died on the spot.  The necklace, however, was $1300 so…yeah.  It didn’t happen.  But I’ve been searching for one like it ever since.  That necklace was the inspiration for the one above.  But to keep the whole thing from being overly precious (you know how I hate precious), I mixed both brights and pastels, and used the darker color to add an unexpected element.

Cam’s Earrings, $75 – Speaking of unexpected color combos, Cams nailed it with these earrings that should totally scream Christmas, but instead are fresh and modern and feel like Spring.

OE’s Necklace, $80 – I love Kendra Scott’s tassel necklace (every blogger I know swears by this statement piece), but I especially love OE’s take.  It’s so freaking understated and chic.

Scotti’s Bling A Ding Ding, $38 – $50 – Talk about modern, unexpected color combos!  I’m DYING.  Scotti doesn’t like statement necklaces, so she decided to make two delicate layering pieces and a bracelet.  Cool, right?  Scotti’s necklaces are the Bradyn and the Kiri, as well as the Andy bracelet.

Kendra Scott is also offering free shipping between now and Mother’s Day, so there’s that.

Hope you are enjoying the weekend!
