Gang!  The big sale news, of course, is the Nordstrom Fall Clearance Sale.  But this is a major sales weekend all around, so we also have picks from Banana, CB2, and LOFT as well as a few others worth mentioning quickly.

20% off Dresses At Anthro!  I just picked up this swingy red number for alllll the holiday parties (I’ll throw a selfie up on IG – @shanachristine), and Gwen swears by this gorgeous, velvet wrap dress.

50% off regular-priced items at Banana!  (See our picks below)

Up to 25% off entertaining and decor at CB2 (see our picks below).

40% off tops, sweaters, and scarves at LOFT.  I’m kinda obsessed with this sweet little velvet top, or this crazy-sleeved stunner. (I don’t normally go for the crazy sleeve, but this one is GORG.)

ANYWAY.  I typically use this sale to stock up on gorgeous basics (cashmere sweaters, jeans, boots, etc.) and sparkly little accessories for the holidays.  There were also a few dresses that caught my eye.  To keep my brain from exploding, I broke it up into categories.  Let’s start with the super fun stuff, RIGHT???

  4. Thank you! There are so many great items here! Shana, love the reference to your hairy purse- I’ve been searching for one for years and never found one, but loved yours. Would love to see how Cams styled the long dress, and would love to see how you would wear that velvet blazer. I think I could wear it a lot- but I am not 100% convinced…

    SO helpful to get these posts right now so we can go and purchase while the sale is on. I would love early posts on holiday styling while the clothes are still available in stores. And I’ve been loving the home posts! Keep on keeping on with all you do at TME!

  6. Love your recommendations as always! I recently found the r&b Dre crop step fray white jeans on a great sale at shopbop! Is the step fray look done or still around for a bit? Loved how you styled them with a white graphic tee!

  8. Thanks for your picks! I love Nordstroms (especially their sales) but sometimes I have such a hard time looking at their online catalog- for whatever reason I swear I am looking at a Speigel catalog circa 1988. Nothing ever looks good on the models, so I appreciate your trained eye!!!

  9. Love the ideas here! In Scottie’s group she mentioned that she wears the white blouse over a bodycon dress often? I own that blouse but I can not picture how to do that together in a good way, I rely so much on the front tuck style that I’m not sure how you would do it over a dress, any chance we could see?
