I may have stumbled upon the coolest new kid’s toy for 2016: Sago Mini Jinja’s House.
There’s this tiny toy craze (borderline obsession) that seems to have taken over the minds of kids everywhere. You know what I’m talking about, right? Shopkins, Kinder Surprise eggs, yada yada yada. I don’t understand it (at. all.), but my kids are ALL ABOUT IT. Where did baby dolls go…or a good old unrealistic Barbie (haha)? Those were my jam.
Anyway, Jinja’s House has got the tiny-and-cute thing down pat. We’re talking little animal creatures, colorful furniture and an adorable little house. Now, I may not get the Shopkins craze, but I can get down with this. It’s cute, doesn’t require assembly (yesaaaaah!), is foldable and can be carried around. Not to mention, it provides kids with an open-ended toy that gets their creativity and imaginations working.
I like it. I really, really like it.
Did you see that it also has a mini bathroom? A perfect little way to introduce potty training. (Not like that’s going so well for me, currently. Anthony’s all, “No. I don’t want to.” *Stamps foot* The end. Ugh. Whatever.)
Anyway, the day this magical toy arrived at our front door may have been one of the best days we’ve had so far since baby numero 3 arrived. It kept my kids entertained for hours. HOURS, people.
As soon as we got it out of the box, Mads and Anthony were enamored..and so so excited. It was so cute to see their faces light up with excitement and joy over something so relatively simple.
Mads actually informed me, very matter-of-factly, that, “I watched this on YouTube, mom”. Oh. Okay, cool kid. I totally knew that. …heh.
Oh, and this is what third child FOMO looks like…
Yep. He’s got it bad.
Traveling with kids this year? This toy.
Cheers,
Cams
This is very timely! And my kids LOVE the Sago Mini apps so I know this will be a hit with them. Thanks!
To follow up on my previous comment…I bought this adorable little house after seeing this post and it is even more adorable in real life. I unpackaged it alone while my kids were sleeping so I can surprise them with it on our flight cross-country tomorrow. I’m a big fan of this and love that it will easily fly along with us (definitely not too big for my 5-year old to add to her own carry-on). Thank you for this recommendation!
I love that! Putting it in my cart ASAP- mama needs help with inside activities on these extra hot days! 🙂
Ordered!
