The TME team has a little Slack channel going (ahem, many not-so-little Slack channels) on which we discuss all of our goings-on — post statuses, product updates, which video game soundtracks result in the most productive writing (shoutout to Syd for her expertise there). And beauty recommendations. I swear, every time one of us poses a skincare question to the team — which face cleanser truly gets rid of waterproof eye makeup? anyone using an anti-aging product actually worth the hype? — Colleen Rothschild something or other is always mentioned. The whole team just raves.
So I was clearly excited when, just last week, I had the opportunity to get my hands on a few of Colleen Rothschild’s Bestsellers. I’ll go into more details below, but if you’ve been jonesing to try any of them (or looking for an excuse to stock up on favorites), Colleen Rothschild is offering 25% off all of their Best Sellers with code BEST25 through August 23rd — with free shipping on orders over $49 and a 30-day money back guarantee.
And guys, if you think about it, this sale is good. I mean, we all know that skincare is an investment — and while Colleen Rothschild products are really well-priced for the quality and the quantity, 25% off is pretty dang significant. So I say, if you’ve been eyeing something, now’s the time.
Here’s a little rundown on the Colleen Rothschild Best Sellers I’ve tried — and loved.
I knew I was going to love this oil-based cleanser right off the bat. It’s got 400+ stellar reviews, and S has called it “life-changing” (and let’s face it, she looks fantastic), so I had high hopes. Unsurprisingly, it’s phenomenal. Takes off every trace of makeup (even stubborn eye makeup) and is SO satisfying to use. Plus, it’s got Colleen Rothschild’s signature light fragrance of lavender and sandalwood, which apparently is what makes up that elusive “spa” scent I’m always trying to recreate at home. And bonus points for the fact that you remove the cleanser with the (included) muslin cleaning cloth, because it means you’re not splashing cleanser and makeup residue all over your sink basin and counters while trying to rinse your face. Maybe it’s just the Lazy in me, but I’ve not missed having to wipe down the countertop after face-washing one. single. bit.
Oh, and by the way — you can buy more of the muslin cloths, too.
The reviews on this Age Renewal Super Serum are outstanding — and most notably rave about its effectiveness at diminishing fine lines, which seem to have increased exponentially over the past five years. (I tell myself it’s from all the increased smiling and time spent playing in the California sunshine…not sure I’m fully buying it.) I do love how it feels on — light, refreshing and effective. It’s become part of my new nighttime routine, combined with the Face Oil No. 9. And gang, the 25% off deal goes a long way on this one.
Isn’t it funny how, once upon a time, oil felt like a bad word when it came to skincare? Now I’m like gimme all the oils. (I’ve even found that the parts of my skin that were more prone to becoming oily before have actually balanced out with the regular use of cleansing and topical oils.) This face oil feels so indulgent on, and a little goes a long way. I’ve been using it at night with the Age Renewal Super Serum, and I swear my skin looks and feels healthier and more refreshed in the morning — even this past week when I was running on maaaaybe five hours of sleep a night.
This Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum is another product with overwhelmingly positive reviews — and I love that it’s actually geared a bit more toward problematic skin: redness, breakouts, etc. I’ve definitely noticed a few more skin issues since spending more time at home. I think it’s a combo of stress, diet and absentmindedly touching my face as soon as I get home and take my mask off (it’s like I’m subconsciously celebrating my hands’ access to my face again!), and I feel like this does decrease some of my patchy redness and help clear the areas where I’m more prone to breakout. Always a big fan of skin care products that feel like they’re working, and this one’s got just the faintest tingle.
The day we shot these photos, I prepped my skin with many of the products mentioned here — but then I also layered on a couple more while we were shooting so we could get the application shot. This Complete Eye Cream is one of those products that was doubled up, and the rest of the day, every time I caught a glimpse of myself, I couldn’t help but notice how much more awake and — I know this word gets used a lot in skin care, but it’s too true here — radiant I looked.
It’s also light but super moisturizing, and a little goes a long way. Oh, and bonus points for eye creams in little jars versus pumps. (There’s such a small quantity to begin with, and I always struggle with getting the last bit. Not the case here.)
These Glycolic Acid Peel Pads were the products that I was most excited to try — probably because it’s the furthest from what I typically use on my skin. I’m a little shy when it comes to the more intensive anti-aging products, particularly because I have skin that swears it isn’t sensitive 95 percent of the time and then will randomly flare up in anger the other five percent. So for that reason, I don’t usually go the route of peels. But the idea of a mini-peel in pad form that is gentle enough to use a few times a week? Totally intriguing. So I crossed my fingers and went for it.
And friends — these are good. I use them at night, just in case my skin decides to react with any redness, but I swear the tone and texture of my skin has improved in just a week. (I’ve done three pads in seven days.) I’m a bit of a stickler when it comes to sunscreen anyway, but since this product contains alpha hydroxy acids, I’m even more vigilant during the day, making sure I thoroughly cover all the areas where I’ve been using the peel. If you’re looking to invest in only one product to truly revitalize your skincare routine, this is the one.

It truly feels like I’m the last one to hop on the Colleen Rothschild bandwagon, so if you guys have tried any of the other products, I’d love to hear about it! I mean, if I’m going to be investing in anything right now, skin care feels like a good place to put my dollars (between FaceTime and Zoom, I’ve never seen so much of my own face…), and from what I can tell so far, Colleen Rothschild totally walks the walk.
Thanks to Colleen Rothschild for sponsoring this post.
